Well, I've just come back from my lottie,
Serena - I'll send you a pm later this afternoon so as not to clutter this thread up with allotment talk.
Triker - I'm so pleased you had a brilliant time last night, but seeing Linkin Park - of course it was going to be fantastic.
Valli - I'm sending you "cooling vibes" - I know how you feel. (Still, you will save on the heating bill!):rotfl:
Dozergirl - Gladly, all that is behind me now as DD has flown the nest. (Although she is greatly missed, the state of her room IS NOT.)
Raphael - That's a lovely idea you have with the photos.
I'm just going to have an early lunch and then crack on.

Hello,
Can I join please? I have been reading your forum for a few weeks and trying it out at home and have found it a massive help.
I have never joined a forum before so am a bit nervous but also noticed comments from a couple of you about being ME sufferers, which as a fellow sufferer (although thankfully I have been pretty well now for a few years) made me think that it was time I took the plunge and joined you! Especially as you all sound very friendly and supportive
As a newbie, please be gentle with me!

Welcome ExtremeBlonde, please don't be nervous.
I am a relative newbie myself and have been made to feel really welcome.

Well, Valliland smells much fresher and looks much cleaner. Bathroom and kitchen are both done, floors mopped and everything. DD's bed remade with fresh bedding; some washing was brought in and ironed, replacement stuff hung out. Kitten is up to something - I hear suspicious rustling...
Kitten sitting sweetly and trying - and failing- to look innocent and oblivious - but I can't see what she has been up to!
I have been to the PO and posted off 6 e bay sales...they should have gone yesterday but I just KNEW I wasn't going tomake it to the PO - I could have tried after the trip before Parents eveing BUT I don't know where the nearest PO to work is - the one in the village shut down a few years ago. Anyway two birds one stone - I also posted some other stuff and took my plastics to the skips. And I walked down there, too. Just baking a couple of salmon fillets I got reduced in Mr S on Monday and froze. Two packs for £1.70 each so i thought it not bad! I shall have 1 for lunch with some salad.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I haven't been near the lappy since Tuesday as I have been so busy, I deliberately walked out of work as soon as I finished today so I could have some me time. Having a break and catching up on emails etc and then I will see if I can tackle level 1s before OH gets home.
Can I have some positive vibes going his way please? He has just had a job interview...for the job he is doing! He thinks it went ok and should find out this afternoon. If he doesn't get it then he will go back to part-time hours rather than full. I can't wait until we know either way, it has been a stressful couple of months.
Anyway here is what looks to be a very long and daunting list.
