Whooo! Managed a NSD yesterday (slightly going to make up for it today as I've just spent £2.97 in the 99p shop - dishwasher salt, cif wipes, 2 x tins of soup for OH), a rather unecessary £1.50 in P*acocks for a mobile phone sock - but it's really sweet, with a penguin on, and will stop my phone being scratched. Oh, and need to pay eBay man for the oven handles - so there goes the £10 I had in my paypal account plus a bit more, but still cheaper than £60+ Belling wanted for a replacement (and I'll have a spare for any future accidents lol!)

Spoony - I agree with what the others say, we love your nightly roundups but perhaps it's too much for you so how about rethinking the round up part of this challenge? xx

Hey everyone, number 8 for me today - need to pull my socks up a bit if I'm going to meet my target!

Hope you're OK Spoon, I totally agree with what Jintyb and Niccatw said - the nightly roundups are lovely but we'd rather have you back to your normal self! Its a lot of work especially with all the new people on the challenge, its shows what a nice thread this is with how popular it has become!

I've been awol for a few days, was a bridesmaid for my brother and his new wife on saturday which was totally perfect, a beautiful day :):):).

Sadly I was brought back down to earth with a bump when my beloved dog passed away in the early hours of Monday morning, she was very old but nothing can prepare you for how desolate you feel when they go :( Starting to feel a bit better now but doesn't take a lot to set me off again!

Right, got 3000 words to write by Monday so I'd better crack on! Happy NSD's everyone! xxx

    I'm declaring number 5 :j

I went to Asda to do an old lady's shopping, managed not to buy anything for myself:D Then on the way home from work I had to walk through town to pick up DGD's glasses from being mended and resisted all the shops :T:T:T

I'm determined to meet my target this month, and hopefully exceed it!

No, I think it's lovely that your wee boy likes doing these things and that you enjoy it too, the simple pleasures are the best and end up being good fun and dont cost a lot of money!:T
