Today was a spend day. Myself and OH have spent most of our day off de-cluttering, and managed to fill 2 binbags worth of clothes which I offloaded to a charity shop (my good deed for the day) We're both proper hoarders and the flat we live in really isn't big enough for all of our tat so something had to give.
Hope everyone is well. xx0 -
another NSD today - please could you increase my challenge to 12 - thanks0

Hi ya LooLoo - wish it was but its not me venturing off to a lovely shiny salon - I have a friend who does my hair - though in all honestly I much prefer her to the super expensive salon I last ventured into about 6yrs ago. I find it's much more relaxing than a salon (where I always felt a bit out of place and not quite trendy enough) and they never bloomin listened to what I wanted, then charged an arm and both legs.
Had a lovely afternoon off work today for my mum's birthday. Went to the carvery for lunch and then a mooch round town. she actually insisted on buying lunch so atm it's a NSD. However, I managed to track down replacement oven handles on eBay and now the guy has just invoiced me....I wonder if he'll wait until tomorrow for me to pay :undecidedFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

D'oh! Those darn cheesy poofs. Well I think I had a bit of pre-lady time angry emotions today, and a rather rubbish day at work, so I treated myself. The good and the bad news is that I have spent the last pennies in my purse now, so from now until payday a week tomorrow, I will definitely get NSDs in, because there are no pennies left to be spent, and I'm definitely not going into my overdraft for munchy pennies. You see? Lived it, learned it, not going back (well at least when my totals are paid off at least)
Hope you all had a good day, and hope you're feeling better spoon xx

She also doesn't work with a mirror, so I never see what is happening until it is all done, which can be quite a surprise
She was unable to do my hair before my birthday this weekend, so DH suggested I head for a salon (little realizing just how much it costs )...happy to oblige in this case though
:D. They've even got massaging chairs :rotfl:.
I need to look my best when I turn 50 on Sunday! Well, one part of me will look good...I hope!
Off to get some ironing done...it's becoming a mountain range again...ooops :rotfl:
