Hope this does'nt come up twice, spend wensday, and up to #8 today
    £71.93/ £180.00
  • NSD #6 and #7 yesterday and today! And 2 in a row!
(although i did buy a face mask in Boots today, but i used my points so i'm not counting that!)

Tuesday, I spent a ridiculous amount of money at a gig and a wee night out afterwords.

Spoon, it was Alexisonfire, my favorite band, and 5th time seeing them live! To be honest, was well worth the money spent as that won't be me out again till my birthday in January.

Hi all glad to report NSD number 5 for today happy0065.gif. Went into town to collect DS's boots and that was all!!! It has been a truly miserable day today with horizontal sleet on and off for most of it sad0051.gif. I have, however, had a bit of a result - I finally sold my old desktop computer so I am in the money to the tune of £100 happy0158.gif. Really pleased as the money will go towards our holiday that we are trying to plan for March (with the 4x Mr T vouchers before it becomes 3x).

CAN I HAVE SOME ADVICE PLEASE MY LOVELIES I asked previously about whether or not to count my canteen card spends as I was topping up on a spend day then not counting when I actually used it. The general concencus was that the money had already left my hands so neednt be counted again. Well for some reason this evening when I was running DS's bath (am I the only one who has such random thoughts at random moments confused0083.gif) I was thinking that I use my clubcard + in the same way. I top up once a month (sometimes several depending on how money/paydays fall) and then only spend in Mr T from that but I always count it as a spendy day when I use it to buy groceries. Now I dont mind which way it goes but I do feel that its the exact same as using my canteen card SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the question really is should I be counting the canteen card every time its used aswell as everytime its topped up OR should I only count my cc+ when I put money on it??? For some reason it just doesnt feel right only counting when I top it up but I'd like your thoughts please ashamed0003.gif

elf~ i wouldent count either as you have already spent the money IYSWIM which ties in with your thoughts.
I do this with DS's lunch money.
I go to the bank every now & then & get lots of change.
But I dont count it every day when I give him it.

Not doing so well this month as every day seems to be a spendy day at the mo.Hey ho.
Today I bought a lovely poppy umbrella & tea towel as future Chrimbo pressies.

  • Hi everyone

Yesterday was a spend day as we had food delivery, today has been a NSD though. :)

I am all aches and pains today, took me about 10 mins to get out bed after lugging a great big TV and its stand down 2 flights of stairs and then another flight into our building basement (this took me and OH half an hour at least, we are ridiculously unfit!). Totally worth it though, the new tv and stand and new freeview box are so super shiny and fabulous, I'm easily pleased! :D

Off to catch up with the rest of thread, hope you are all well xxx
