to the person who asked about 12 weekly deliveries, thats what we have, and its one box every three months - not moneysaving but we all look forward to them as a real treat

Very, very tempting! I'm sure I spend at least £6 a month on rubbish chocolate, this stuff is almost good for you!

Hi, on quidco search the chocolate tasting club (not hotel chocolate). They are part of the same company but the cashback links are different. :)

As they are part of the same company, do you think signing up to one would make me unable to use Quidco offers for the other? I want to order some Hotel Chocolat bits with a Quidco offer but it would be great to be able to get cashback for this offer too!

Shouldn't be a problem. Not sure why everyone is using Quidco though as their £5 annual membership fee will eat up all your Tasting Club cashback - :)
You can get the same deal via topcashback with no annual membership fee:

I am already a member of quidco so the admin fee is not an issue as already been covered.
  • I am worried now as I placed order, and then cancelled membership as I wanted to try them and I was worried that I would forget, Quidco is showing as tracked but do you think I will still get my chocs?

Re: other offers (someone asked about) if you stay a Tasting Club member you get 5% off any purchases from Hotel Chocolat main website/magazine/in store. They also do sometimes add extras (like the "liquid choc" intended for making hot choc tho I prefer to just eat it lol, and choc slabs) to the monthly boxes too.

I get 8 weekly boxes as my treat mmmm

Is it working for current members does anyone know? they periodically offer current members an extra intro box at intro price (typically when they change the selection somewhat)

p.s. alcoholic chocs will be in both the classic & dark boxes but not every choc will be alcoholic, percentage varies by box. they do an annual extreme alcoholic collection. also be aware that classic box which was originally a balanced mixture of all 3 types if choc has now become very much milk & white with hardly any dark, since most dark afficionados take the dark box so those that take classic are more milk/white people
  • YUM. Just ordered these as a stocking filler for my MIL. She loves dark chocs, what a treat :)

when are you all thinking of cancelling membership?

Tasting Club review. First the chocolates are very nice. We get a box every 8 weeks and eat them in 2 or 3 "sittings" (that's 2 of us). To be honest I'd be just as happy with a decent bar of Begium chocolate but I'm a "cheap chocolate fan".

The website is a bit crap, complicated by the fact that I've applied for various offers from them - so have had half a dozen memberships running with them (they don't seem to mind multiple memberships). I've closed them all down now, bar 1.

Customer service is very good if you have any issues.
