Thought I'd let you all know how lucky I am. I've been planning all afternoon, so far, and DH has decided that now is the time to clean the bathroom :j :j :j. He's also threatening to dust and vacuum in the sitting room.
I'll loan him to anyone who's willing to give me a loaf of HM bread.

In spite of the fact that yesterday's poll showed that we blokes are in a 10% minority my self-esteem is as high as ever this morning! My OH laughed when I told her and assures me she won't think any the less of me for belonging to a "WI".
We had an excellent OS evening insomuch as we took our GDs, who have stayed overnight, for a pizza. That certainly wasn't the OS bit but the journey was! We have a CD "Hello Children Everywhere" and they love it! Clearly their chums parents/grandparents aren't as loopy as theirs are which means that they don't drive along the road singing, amongst others:
...Nellie the Elephant
...Jake the Peg
...The Runaway Train
...Gilly Gilly Ossenfeffer Katzenellenbogen By The Sea
...etc. etc
The best one has to be Rolf's classic (!) "I've lost my mummy"... I have tears of laughter streaming down my face as they bellow it out.
I play the same one (if its the boxed set of 3 C.D.s) to my class & they love it too. 'Specially that I can sing along the the whole "My Boomerang Won't come back," as it was the ONLY record my siblings & I owned until the next Christmas.
