"associated with Ticketmaster" you mention? How?
The only association I see is that Ticketmaster sells ticket in a primary seller's agreement and Seatwave sells tickets in a secondary capacity.
I think you may mean Getmein not seatwave!!0 -
Then those artists were probably not worth touting to start with. They may have been but the margins were small. This won't happen with all artists.
Besides people want CERTAINTY about when they want to do something and PLANNED in advance. And the price they put on that is a called the premium. Not every wants to go out to see their favourite band when it went on sale 6 months ago in two days time
Try that with Michael Buble hoping for a cheap ticket on the night or days before and you will end up with a DVD instead!
I've done it with plenty of sold-out events in the past - Killers, Kings of Leon, Muse at Wembley, Stereophonics - all bands than can attract a premium on the black market. Heck, I've even done it for major football matches (the most recent being Barcelona v Real - again, not a match where tickets are going spare). It can be done and it will be done at Take That gigs.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I've got a couple of extras and if I can't find friends who want them, they'll be going on ebay and I'll make a profit. Why is that? Because they're mine and I can do what I want with them, I got them fair and square.
It also breaches the Terms and Conditions of the tickets.
Hardly 'fair and square'.
Place an advert for them in a local paper for the tickets at face value.
Maybe behave like a fan? Or someone who can at least show empathy to the 'real fans' who only wanted their one ticket but couldn't because people bought more than they needed.War does not determine who is right - only who is left.0 -
I needed 2 tickets for TT cardiff and managed to get some by following the kind advice of a fellow MSE and booking through ticketmaster.ie site.
I only needed 2 and only bought 2 thus giving others the chance to take the same opportunity I had. TBH I wouldnt have enjoyed the show as much knowing i'd ripped off the people sat beside me but maybe thats just me.
I'm all for money saving but not at any cost.0 -
Hi,
I'm trying to find a TT ticket for the Sunderland dates on Ebay and there are a couple where fans have bought tickets from Sunderland Stadium of Light and received a voucher which they are selling and will post immediately. This voucher is then exchanged for a ticket at the stadium close to when the concert is. I emailed one seller to try and ascertain I'd be able to exchange the voucher for a ticket without his id or card details and he claims it'd be okay but I want to be certain. Anyone know if this is true?
Thanks.0 -
Just to let you know more dates go on sale this Friday Dec 10th.
Details are here BUT be warned they may change the date of your show as they see fit - read the link.
