I'm living in the posh part of the marina 'dahlings' so all is well! Chav free!
:rotfl: Sorry you can't call the Marina posh by any stretch of the imagination. You need to move to Swansea West to be a bit posh, Mumbles and you are moving up a bit higher but you really need to be living on The Gower for full poshness. :D

I have got agree! the ONLY reason i go into Swansea is for a nice meal in the Brasseria on a lunch time, accidently turned up Wind St on a Friday night once !!!! never again.

What was the quote from Twin Town "pretty !!!!!! city" ?

I Agree The Brasseria on Wind st is excellent, the market is pretty good too but the rest of the town is such a shambles considering it's location at the gateway to the gower, even the Marina looks tired and run down.

Yes Rachie you is posh - unless it was the Oxwich Bay Hotel and then you ain't :rotfl::rotfl:.

Swansea City Centre on a weekday lunchtime seems to be the capital of "kids mitching off school land". Truancy rates in Swansea must be off the clock. However, worse than Swansea is Llanelli Town Centre. I hate going there in the week if I have a day off because there are some real low-lifes hanging about!!!

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Another fab mitching related word is "whipperin" who would come to visit the house if you'd been mitching off. My mother had two visits from the whipperin even though I never missed school . Oh the shame!!

I agree, the Gower is verging on the ludicrously expensive toff side of Swansea. V Powsh!

The marina is far better than Townhill/Uplands at least. Surely you can give me that! and i'm not aiming to be posh, I just dont want to live in squaller!

I wasnt impressed with the Oxwich Bay either! ;)

    Totally agree

I love going into town, rather than the out of town shopping centres - Fforestfach, Morfa etc.

But i don't other now unless i really need to go in.

Hope it's in a better state come xmas, i love going into town at xmas. Don't know where Father Christmas is going to switch on the lights, doesn't he usually do them on the Kingsway!!!
You missed it, on a rain soaked November 19th, but the market and everything is now in place on the streets
