  • Back on topic, find Swansea really weird, nice shopping centre and really grotty looking main street.

Best thing about Swansea is the Cross Keys just off Wind Street, do a fab sunday carvery just pile it on the plate, fabulous.
  • Really on topic.

Swansea is a dump full stop.

The countryside around it is amazing -- but Swansea itself is Chav Central.

    Sorry just my opinion.

I work in Orchard Street, our office is slap bang on top of the roadworks!!!! For some reason Mondays always seem to be worse than any other day for driving in - just the bit from Dyfatty to the NCP in Orchard Street - I don't have to negotiate the Kingsway, thankfully. They're using some kind of roller on the street outside our office though and the whole office is shaking, desks and all!!!! And it is really difficult to get from the Kingsway to Orchard Street on foot, although someone (I guess one of the workmen) has covered one of the "pedestrians" signs with one that says "this is the way to Amarillo" which always makes me laugh!!

Ye gads woman! I walk that way to work! we may have passed like ships in the night! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Talbot Green is near Llantrisant just off the M4, boasts a Tesco Extra that very rarely has a misprice.

Next, Argos Extra, M &S ,Outfit, Boots, Sports World TK Maxx, Comet, Borders, Pizza Hut, Matalan, Peacocks, Halfords, Brantano, Richleys, Instore etc nothing exciting really.

these are in the other retail park in Llantrisant,Glamorgan Vale, where macdonalds and aldi lol are not Talbot Green ;)

Yeah, swansea on a friday or saturday night is pretty shocking imo... I live bang in the middle of the town, and boy, you really dont need a tv round here, just open the curtains, turn the lights off and have a gander out the window!

They are one and the same. Glamorgan Vale Retail Park, Pontyclun, Talbot Green, that is the postal address.

its ok there, as long as you visit at 9am as you cant park any other time.

Sorry have never liked Swansea, being married to a swansea boy he couldnt wait to leave, far prefer Cardiff.
