thanks tara for keeping us up to date on the NI situation, gonna pop in over the weekend :)

No probs, this was the big city centre store in Belfast btw. :)
Got mine today in Preston! It wasn't no questions asked though, she checked it (presume to see that it wasn't empty) and asked if I currently use it, couldn't lie and had to say no as it was a dodgy colour which I obviously don't use, so she handed it me back and said it has to be a swap for your normal brand - luckily I had a backup so managed to swap that... second time lucky!!!

    OMG what a cow!

thats awful, the one I swapped was avon - it must have been a freebie cos I wouldnt have bought it, it had a glitter bit on one end and the normal mascara on the other, and obviously it isnt one I use regularly, the SA didnt say a thing.
    I luv freebies
  • Not sure whether I want to part with my benefit bad girl (sample size) mascara for the Clinique one... hmmmm!
  • i brought an old no7 in but was told I couldn't have the mascara as it was a sample size, offered another one and again told it was a sample size so came away empty handed. Bad class Portsmouth

I swapped 2 today no problem, the girl was lovely, told me to take my pick, thicker or longer. Also told me to come back if I found any more, which I did, so 3 in all : )
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.
  • I swapped mine in Southampton with no problems - I went into Primark before hand and got one reduced to 25p (purple) ...result !t
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • I read about this the other day after my mum had reported she bought the High Impact mascara and it had irritated her eyes! So I borrowed it off her today and wore it to test if it irritated mine. My eyes did water a tiny but during the day but that could either be my cold or my mind telling me that they should be watering! Haha.

Either way I'll be going tomorrow, I was going to trade in my mum's super old clumpy mascara (my regular one is fairly new) but I might test my luck and bring along one I got free in a magazine just in case!
    Thank you competition posters!

I've swapped two so far, one manky old one I found and one I bought from Wilko for 75p - I figured it was worth the investment! If I can be bothered I'll see about doing another one or two to put away. The white tube one takes a bit of practise to put on but looks lovely once it is on.
