Boots -swap old mascara to get deluxe sample clinique mascara

I traded in my old mascara yesterday. My local boots Clinique counter had lots of posters up advertising the offer. I have text my mates to lwt them know too. Thanks again OP.

i dont have any old mascaras, i throw mine away every 4-6 weeks so i dont get eye infections.

Every 4-6 weeks!!! I thought it was every 4 months!!!!!!!! :eek:

My old ones were just sitting around in a drawer (I am a hoarder lol), not being used. I'm glad I kept them now, going to trawl a few Boots to get more samples yay.

When i was younger i suffered a lot with conjunctavitis (sticky eye) and when i hit adulthood, I had a severe infection that blocked my tear ducts meaning i had to have my eye lids cut open whilst i was awake, they numbed them with drops but i could see the scalpel, to release the gunk and I now have 2 small lumps in my lower eye lids, you cant see them but i can feel them. I had to wear 2 pirate eye patches for 48 hours afterwards.

So im slightly paranoid about getting another infection, so yes I change it every 4-6 weeks. And throw it away so it doesnt get mixed in with a new one.

I went to 2 huge Boots today and both were out of the samples! They told me to come back after a FEW DAYS!
