I got mine today in Glasgow and it was pretty easy. She didn't look at it and just gave me a list of the ingredients. :)

  • Just realised that my local Boots doesn't have a Clinique counter :( Oh well, my free one came from my mum!
    Thank you competition posters!

Got one in Birmingham today, no problem.

Just asked where i'd heard about it, whether i was a regular clinique user and what brand I was swapping before she asked me to put it in the perspex box (which was nearly full!)

Given a choice of which one i wanted and was on my way. Thanks OP.
  • got mine today too :) although have to say the saleswoman could not have been less interested in me - tried to ask her about other products, no they had no samples, no idea if they would get them in etc etc. Was quite surprised cos I've always found the clinique people lovely before...
  • I read about this the other day after my mum had reported she bought the High Impact mascara and it had irritated her eyes! So I borrowed it off her today and wore it to test if it irritated mine. My eyes did water a tiny but during the day but that could either be my cold or my mind telling me that they should be watering! Haha.

Either way I'll be going tomorrow, I was going to trade in my mum's super old clumpy mascara (my regular one is fairly new) but I might test my luck and bring along one I got free in a magazine just in case!

Clinique will refiund the price of the makeup if you can;t use it. I was umming about buying mascara last year and was told I could take it and try it and if it made my eyes water they would refund it. I tried it a couple of times and it was awful and so I took it back anc true to their work I got a full refund.

I got mine this evening (high impact), am so pleased. I swapped an old Superdrug mascara that was in a forgotten-about manky makeup bag... was having a clearout the other day and found it. Well done to whoever bought the 25p one to swap, very clever!

I sent the teen to Ayr today, they only had high length mascara, the curved brush, changed no problem for an old avon one.
