  • Quick update, decided to cut my 'losses' and just come down to my absolute minimum, had a viewer last night, got two tonight, another on Saturday and one offer (which is below the absolute bottom so not sure about that one !)

Things seem to be moving though.....

Flat I've just view on some listings is called a duplex which is basically an American maisonette. We have our own stairs & front door but the flat itself is only on the one floor. Some flats in the block are over 2 floors.

Hope that after this amount of time you've changed estate agent. They should be doing the work, not you - at the end of the day this is why you pay them.

And I really don't get why room sizes come under property misdescriptions?
  • What's parking situation , ample onstreet parking? Change duct-air heating to just 'Central heating'..? Better to be able to reassure people of the benefits of the system in person that let them be prejudiced against it and not bother to visit?
  • I think describing duct air heating as central heating is misleading. I'd be very annoyed by that as a buyer.

Fingers crossed you get the offer you want!

Central heating doesn't have to be a wet system... Hence the prejudice.

    Cambridge Dictionary:

    central heating noun

    pron-uk.pngpron-us.png n

a system of heating buildings by warming air or water at one place and then sending it to different rooms in pipes
