Good Morning Chums ,dry here at the moment and quite mild so I may put a wash on I only tend to do my washing when I can get it out on the line as I hate drying stuff indoors if I can help it.My eldest DD changes my bedclothes for me as I can't change the duvet with only one working arm very well.I can strip the bed o.k. its just getting the new cover on thats the problem. She will be home fron new York tomorrow lunchtime and I spoke to her last night and she said she had been shopping wearing only a strappy Tshirt top.a bit showery there but very warm. She'll notice the diference when she gets home.I managed to get her two willow farm fresh chickens in Mr Ts last night they were just putting them out for £2.50 instead of £5.00 so I got two for her and stuck them in her freezer.Good weight as well for her at 3.5 lbs.
Well i have the dentist run this morning with three of my DGS so i'd better get a wriggle on.
Hope everyone has a good day ,almost the week-end again.
Take care

Morning All
Went to see SIL last night to help her sort her computer out and didn't get home until 12.30am.
Trouble is I had a bad night and couldn't sleep so I was up at 5.30am. But I did finish another pair of gauntlets.
I will probably fade this afternoon, so I will have a nap for an hour then and hopefully I will get a better night tonight.
Supposed to be shopping today but we are waiting on a delivery of feather-edge board for the new shed. It was supposed to be here at 8.30am.
OS wise I am going to make ciabatta today to go with soup night (HM Cream of Mushroom tonight) followed by apple sponge and custard.
Well I have got to get on will pop back later byeeee xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Good morning all.
Today me and the children are clearing out the playroom, anything not used/broken is being recyled/donated ( should take up most of the daybut is desperate to be done ).
WM is on, clothes on rack dried just need folding and putting upstairs/in ironing basket.
Tea tonight is HM meatballs and pasta, will also do a spot of ironing later ( OH is a police officer and in court tomorrow so need to make sure his uniform is pristine, usually it's a ' quick ' run over with the iron lol ).
Weather is awful, not need for heating though as I'm sure sorting out the playroom will keep us all toasty.
Have a good day everyone xMum to 3 gorgeous kids
Hoping to have a better year this year.

JackieG - great pic of you:p;) remember to put your teeth in next time though!:D

Morning - just doing some hand washing  another job for my hate list:D. WM on with lights/whites.
Amazing I am not suffering from the gym workout yesterday, and dare I say it my back feels easier. Not due again until next Weds. but may try to fit one in before we go tomorrow.
Just off to Donny via Aldi, to go to the Boots open evening, and see what else I can find. Will look at gym wear in BHS, sports shops think you do not do anything if you are more than a 14 - they mark 14 up as a ladies XL!, even better DH has decided to stay home:D;)
As we are both not working now, we usually do things together but I like a mooch around now and again, and you cannot do that with a fella following you around:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Will have to watch the weight of goods purchased though, as will not have my willing carrier.:o Will look at Evans for the boots - I looked on like and helpfully they they not give the calf diameter:mad: but they had some wide leg and wide fitting feet, so fingers crossed folks.
Right better get my bum in gear. Catch you soon. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -

DG - Evans are the only boots that fit my [STRIKE]large[/STRIKE] muscley calfs;)
JG - Not Bubbles nooooooooooo:p
We are now able to use our other sofa as guess what i have de-cluttered it of all the ironing :j. Also changed our bed, and tidyed kids room:eek::TYou know your getting old when yougo to the pub sit outsideand admire the hanging basket

Afternoon all,
Had a lovely few days away....could have done with longer, got some more wool to add to the stash.
There is a huge row going on in the shower of the room beside me, DD2 found nits in DGD3's hair so both girls are being washed and combed at present, very unwillingly. Will only have them today and tomorrow as they are off home Saturday morning, they are 2 lovely little girls, totally different from each other.
We brought some lovely fresh pollock and hake back from Kerry, think will have the pollock today for dinner as it is lovely, hake can go in the freezer for a later date, along with the mackerel my brother caught for me in Cork....happy bunny at present re fish supply.
csarina....hope that you slept last night and that OH is still improving.
JackieG.....get that ear better NOW....you have a flight tomorrow!
DonnyGal...I soooo know what you mean about having a mooch on your own....my OH is of the opinion that you go into a shop to buy something you want, never 'just to have a look'!
Found a tin of paint I don't remember buying and got painter to use it on family bathroom....looks lovely now. He is doing the living room at present, very pleased with way he is doing the job, will be nice to have nice clean walls again.
Have a good day all
