On the face of it they seem ok. There's an address and a phone number on the website, both good signs although they use an 0870 number. The website details match up with their Domain Registration and they've had an internet presence since 2001.

I can't find any reviews unfortunately but any company with a bad reputation would either have loads of bad press all over the net or, curiously, lots of gushing reviews on certain review sites who ought to be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to happen.0 -
Absolutely crap company.Avoid at all costs.Once you pay you then get a phone call the next day to say item out of stock.They then say they will refund but never do.Have having to chase a refund through paypal as they have totally ignored me for 3 days and no refund even though it says refunded on there website.
Buy elsewhere as these are scammers0 -
I will never ever deal with this shower of monkeys again. Placed an order for a Super King Size Bed and was assured delivery would be on the Friday morning (10 Days later, but not a problem). Arranged to be in on the Friday (delivery 8.00 - 18.00pm, not a problem). Here is where the problem starts..... received an email the night before saying my goods were dispatched and a tracking number was provided (good start) but happen to notice on the email that delivery would be between Monday and Friday (must be a standard email / error)
Calls the company, guaranteed that my goods are getting delivered (the tracking number would not be accepted on the couriers website XDP (WHO?, In Scotland?),
11.00 - Getting worried about my goods, called back the company to be told yes the van is in the warehouse and they can see my bed.... Good Eyesight - Warehouse 10 mins drive away
13.00 - No Sign of the bed
14.00 - Called, assured don't worry (Got that feeling, they are lying) but got told they are training their staff up, they will check if info provided to me is correct
15.00 - Still no sign of the bed, call again - Don't worry its on the van (must have been taking a long road to my house) advised call back at 17.00
17.00 - Called back, automated answer...... "the office is now closed" (Steam starting to come out my ears)
18.00 - No sign of the bed, day wasted, behind schedule on workload
19.00 - GAVE UP............
Sat Morning - Gets through to the "organ grinder" 15 mins of total waffle, basically said the courier is at fault.... (Hang on my contract is with them not the courier...) The usual blame culture,,,, (just put you hands up and say you have been let down... I don't bite)
Mon Morning - Still no bed, wait a minute my mobile rings at 12.24 with the words "your bed will be delivered...... in 30 mins... arrrrrggghhh i work about 45 minutes away... get the helicopter I must get the bed....... Ask my partners mum if she minded to go round to the house and wait.....
13.00 ish bed arrives.... 1 man in a van.... what does it say on the box of a Super Kingsize bed..... "2 man lift"........
Overall the Limelight bed is stunning, beautiful and we are reallu chuffed but First Furniture / Morale Uk never again.. I would pay chimps to take my order the next time
Dont touch unless you have spare days holidays for your goods0 -
Bought a bed that broke after 5 months, took numerous phone calls before they sent out a part for us to try and fix it ourselves. Bought a chair, they sent the wrong one, took numerous phone calls, and weeks of waiting before they sent the correct one, only it was damaged and the fixings were missing. still waiting for a refund after sending it back weeks ago. Disgusting company! Absolute shysters.:mad:0

I used this company First Furniture last year and ordered a bed in November. It came quickly but without some of the parts. It took me endless number of phone calls. They kept promising they were on their way, they weren't, blamed the manufacturer. After endless complaints getting nowhere I asked my Credit card company to intervene. First Furniture then got me the parts and promised me £75 refund for 3months hassle. Needless to say that I am still waiting almost a year later. PS this company is part of the Morale furnishings group so you may want to think twice about dealing with either of these companies. PS - I looked long and hard for a forum to complain so it is good to get this message out there after so long.0 -

I'm going to order a bed my daughter wants, they seem to be the cheapest out there, with the assurances provided. It also helps I work from home and my daughter's b'day is not until April so there's time to get it right I hope. I will update with my experiences...here's hoping...0

Superb value for money & free delivery. Although my sofas arrived a month after originally expected I had a good level of communication from First Furniture (Morale). I was told that, due to this being a very popular new line, there had been a rush on orders. The items were shipped from abroad & I was kept up-to-date on their progress. They arrived this morning in perfect condition & I'm so glad I didn't take notice of the negative reviews & cancel my order. I had a major panic when I was advised that the shipping company may not bring the sofas into the house (in case they damaged wallpaper or carpets) & they may just leave them in the garden but I checked with the driver when he rang half an hour before delivery & he said he would bring them in. Overall a fairly smooth transaction despite the delay. Based on my experience I can only surmise that people on the whole are happy to write a review when things go wrong but can't be bothered when things go well.0
