• I am writing this review in the hope of preventing people from ordering from this awful company that go under the name of 'Moral Home Furnishings' AND 'First Furniture' due to the fact that one company got such a bad reputation, they had to go under a different name. I will therefore be writing this review for both. I urge you please don't buy from this company (companies), seek your item somewhere else and they will do a price match if this is coming up as cheapest. To be honest I'm not even sure they actually have the items they are advertising. They just take your money for months on end, make interest on it (which the owner actually told me they do, even though it is minimal) and then never end up delivering the item. We paid for a new sofa on our credit card in DECEMBER. In January after hearing nothing from the company, no correspondence whatsoever about when it would be delivered I rung to ask where it was. I was told end of January the item would be in stock again (even though the website said 'in stock' delivery in 7-10 days). This was not true and they never updated their website. It is still on there now! This is false advertising. End of January came and went, again with no communication from them, so I rung back again and was finally told this item was not available until March (if it even exists). It was then I decided to cancel the order and the real fun started. I was told to cancel I had to send the company an email. When my refund never materialised I rung AGAIN and was told this email had never even been opened or read. Finally I was put through to the 'accounts dept' which incidentally is the owner who doesn't get in until 10:30am so this 'department' is not open and is literally the RUDEST man alive. Every time I rung I also had to speak to the most dis-interested girl. This company (companies) is run by actual MORONS who care so little about the fact that you have been out of pocket hundreds of pounds for months because they have been literally laughing their way to the bank earning interest and spending YOUR hard earned money. I have been charged over £20 interest for the sofa I bought on my credit card and so will now have to claim this through section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act - when I quoted this to the owner he said he'd never heard of it, yet delighted in telling me he'd been in this business of swindling people out of money for 6 years. It is absolutely disgusting that I have lost £20 for nothing, I have no sofa, I have paid interest for no reason all because they couldn't be bothered to just email/call me up and say this item was out of stock. I have now got to face the arduous task of claiming for this from my credit card company, and lodging a formal complaint with the financial ombudsman regarding the appallingly fraudulent behaviour of these companies. Please please please don't waste months of your life and throw your money down the drain by going to order from Morale OR first furniture.
• I wanted to share with you my customer journey with first furniture.
I placed my order on the 19th of January 2014 over the phone the order was big and I spent more than £3000 they were really nice with me.
I moved in my new house on the 6 of March, and phone them about 10 days before to make sure everything was ready, their answer was no problem!
2 days before not having news from them I decided to phone them again to make sure everything was ready, the answer was no problem your order is ready, 1 day before the delivery they phoned me to change my order the bed I ordered was damaged and not available, I was quite surprise they find out just 1 day before the delivery.
I moved on and accepted the substitution.
On the day of the delivery a very rude driver buzz at my house and ask me to come down stair I'm leaving in flat at the 4floor with a lift.
I was stunned when I saw all the furniture in the middle of the street so I ask are you delivering them upstairs his answer was NO this is your order I have to leave there is not problem I signed under the pressure and he left.
The furniture left on the street was 2 mattress 2 bed 2 bed sides and a big American bbq,
I had no choice and it was really heavy and difficult to bring all those furniture up stairs.

When I open one of the bed it was all broken and rusted.
I phoned them again ( cost me more £65 extra on phone bill cause it’s a 0845 number )the general manager advised me to build it up and he will send me a new one I clearly told him they will have to organised dissemble and reassemble for the new one as I was not able to do it myself (paying an handy man to help building the furniture) .
I got no clear answer from them when they sent me the new one they did not organised for dissemble so I was not able on my own to do it, so I kept the broken rusted bed)
After this very bad experience I gave them another chance and order 2 more bedsides ( my bad after my first experience but I give them another go as sometime one bad experience can happen).
They arrived broken again!
Since then somebody stay at my flat on Monday waiting for the delivery of new bedside different than the original one because not in stock so accepting the second choice) and collecting the broken one,
nobody showed up.
On Friday I organized somebody to be at my home waiting for the delivery as the manager said to me everything arranged don t worry, the guy buzzed at the wrong flat who nobody was there, but this time the manager find a quick solution and send me somebody else the same day to collect the broken bedside I then cancel my order for new bedside. I ordered exactly the same bedside from bedroomfurnitureworld get a Saturday delivery paying a bit more but really stress free they arrived on time receiving text message with a time slot delivery perfect!
On Tuesday 01/04/2014 I received an email confirming they refund me the bedside and gave me £50 as compensation arguing I had a lot a discount.
I genuinely don’t think they understand what compensation means whatever I took the £50 as I was tired arguing with them.

I really hope they will take that feedback on board to improve themselves otherwise online business for them won’t last. They are spending a lot of money to be everywhere on internet but does not have the internet mind yet.
I just add below there delivery policy, I could argue more about them breach the contract with the way all the furniture has been delivered, My lawyer told me I had a case there but do I have the time to do it? Not really

If I consider all the extra money I spent it cost me more than a bit more expensive stress free company!

PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE READING REVIEW IT GIVES YOU A REAL EXPERIENCE FROM A REAL CUSTOMER AND TAKE ALL THIS FEEDBACK ON BOARD BEFORE ORDERING WITH THIS COMPANY.

This is their delivery policy:

Wow, glad I found this! I've had TERRIBLE experience First Furniture. I ordered a bed for my bedroom and after being delayed for 2 days without any notice whatsoever, they brought me the WRONG BED! I had to wait one more week until they finally decide to bring me my bed and what do I see it has terrible scratch marks. After a lot of going back and forth I eventually made them take it and give me my money back. On the look for a new bed right now.
• Hi there, I have recently been searching for furniture myself.. Ive tried all of my local stores but can't find anything that I really Like. The wife wants some shabby chic furniture for our home. I searched the internet and came across Crafted Warehouse on google they do a beautiful selection of shabby chic oak furniture & they also do a lot of vintage style stuff. its quite modern but like i say they also have good quality solid oak as well.
No the furnitures taken car of, anyone know where I can get a large rug from for my living room..?
