Just tried for a couple of mobiles at the local extra.

Nokia 6111 on a white SEL, not showing as part of the £20 off deal (as were other inc the PEBL)

Got the mandatory shopping to get the promotion and picked out a till which didn't have a young operator on.

She scanned them through at the full price, then said" ohh you are entitled to £20 off these 2 phones as you have spent over £40 in-store, but they are not going through the till correctly at the moment" excellent :mad: I said, so I get £20 of the phone, Thants correct.

Dame, I get the phones, go through without the discount but the check out operators notices :mad:

Phone the wife at the till whilst waiting for a supervisor to be told by the wife that the kids are to young for mobiles and not to get them

Ohh well, keep on trying

Went to tesco in brighouse today - they are the only tesco local to have the self-scanning facility.

Picked up a Magicbox twin cordless phone set. Priced at £71.99 (SEL) reduced from £79.99, on a white lable. Price drop had expired on 29/10/2006 so therefore scanned at £79.99 on the self scan and at the till.

Result - £79.99 refund and free product:beer:

In the absence of anything better - the 'Some Girls Love Rainy days' umbrellas are still being displayed in the black boxes with the Christmas stuff with £4.97 on the boxes. SEL is £4.98. They can't argue the boxes are the wrong ones cos the boxes have all got little holes in them with the umbrellas poking thru ! 3 for 2 offer is on these as well.

I got some McMannis wine today - yellow Sel(exp 7/11) £4.99 (shelf m/t) and another white SEL on the shelf above (shelf full) for £7.49. An earlier post implied these were 2 different wines but apparently they are the same wines. The new stock has a slightly different bar code on the back of the bottle and shouldn't have been put on the shelves as the computer has not been set up for the discount. Most stores I went into have left the larger yellow labels out but have removed all the stock - probably won't put it out until after 7/11 . I was lucky in one store so its worth a look.

Bratz item was little concert stage. Went back today to find more! Bratz lil dancers sel £9.97 scans £12 97. All in bratz babyz range. so three different Bratz Babyz misprices found in one weekend!
