  • I don't know if Tesco have sorted this one out, but I was charged £2.97 for this today - even though there was about 3 sels clearly saying £4.97 !!

I haven't tried this, but I did notice yesterday that there are TWO different sorts of holders. There's a larger upright ones (I don't think these are leather) that have lots of plastic envelopes inside (3 per page). These are not in packaging, so you can look at them and these are priced on the shelf and the POS box at £2.97.

The others are smaller ones in clear plastic (sealed) packaging. These are priced at £4.97 on shelf.

This was at Yarmouth - home of the store defectives.

Band of Brothers DVD boxset mostly have stickers of £27.84 on them, SEL and scans at £32.97 in one Tesco nearby, but £27.84 in another so could be localised.

Was certainly scanning at £27.84 in Yarmouth yesterday.

    Also,

I noticed a whole lot of hardback books with 9.97 stickers and 9.95 SELS. I tried four at the scanner and found them all to scan at the lower price.

Hi, have just got back from Tesco Extra and overheard someone enquiring why she didn't get BOGOF of Johnsons baby shampoo.

The out come was that the 'ordinary' is in the offer but not the others (pink). The CS gave money back on the pink ones and customer kept the ordinary.

I'm not sure what the signage was, you'll have to check it out yourselves, but it sounded like there was POS saying BOGOF on Johnsons shampoos but not all SEls were yellow.

The CS sounded as if she was being 'really helpful' when she told the customer that the trick is to check the colour of the labels as it is only the yellow ones that are included.

Pity she didn't explain that the real trick was having misleading POS.

    Happy Shopping

Tesco Finest corn fed chicken breasts (2 in a pack), SEL: £10.99 per kg, pack displays £12.99 per kg.
They retail at a whopping £7.7x each (give or take), so the three that are now sitting in my freezer will be very enjoyable.
    Full R&R, no hassle

Swedish Style Meatballs £1.77 or 2 for £3.00. Multisave not working. ;) Multisave errors are usually national so a good one to try if your store is usually on the ball!

BBQ Doritos now working for me but they're now my favourite so no worries.:D

Also, it's not clear from the individual signs but the Muller yogurts offer 2 for £4.00 applies to both corners and Vitality, ie you can buy one of each and still get the discount.

i got two packs of these earlier in the week last week - lovely texture!
Also on potential R&R offer was diced steak, with a price/kg which was a bit higher on the pack than the shelf (can't remember actual figures but it's easy enough to check when you're out shopping isn't it ?)
I got two packs of each and both were very tasty! thanks Mr T
