Edindevon wrote:Can I just clarify whether anyone is actually saying that they have successfully had an R&R on this.
I can't find any post where someone has said that it is a misprice and to the best of my knowledge, the offer is valid until October 17th, so what am I missing?

I think the OP had looked at the site above, which I put the date sorted link to, and suggested that as the Carling was going off offer on the 17th, it looked a possible RandR on the 17th/18th..........or thats how I understood it......
Sorry.....didnt see post above before I posted.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

It is very unusual for one item to be finishing its offer on its own!
Usually all wines, beers and spirit offers finish together.
This is one that appears to be on its own so is very likely to go wrong as other offers finished last week!
Watch the Mars funsize range on Wednesday as well!
UPDATE:
They're not quite on their own!
Finishing on Tuesday night are:
Budweiser / Stella Artiois - 10 x 330ml bottles £8.99 Buy 2 for £14
Heineken - 6 x 330ml cans £6.49 Buy 2 for £10
Bulmers Cider 568ml bottle £1.68 Buy 3 for £4
Strongbow Sirrus 500ml bottle £1.68 Buy 3 for £4
Carling 4 x 500ml cans £3.39 Buy 2 for £6
Carlsberg Export 6 x 300ml bottles £7.49 BOGOF
Bells/Gordons/Smirnoff Red/Baileys 1l bottles £15.28 Buy 2 for £25
Mars Fun Size Chocolates 525g bag £1.98 Buy 2 for £3
Tesco Finest Belgian Chocs 400g box £3.99 (usually £7.99)
Nescafe Black Ground Coffee 100g jar £1.32 (usually £2.64)
But of course check before buying on Wednesday if you can!
A good indication of an offer change is the smaller SEL indicating a different price to the one above.Keep SmilingSite member number 24

Okay, thanks for clearing that up.
You've also got to bear in mind that Tesco very often extend their alcohol offers, so it would be wise to double check whether an offer is still on, even if you do see an out of date SEL on Carling or any other beer.

EdIT.............found it...had to search for Extra stores
Yes....funny that ...just do a normal(nearest) search for that store and it doesnt show.....do a search for "extras" and it comes up first 5.5 miles away.....
worth remebering that....I might have missed the odd store on my travels....(shock.....horror)
Nice easy one to find this, its just off the M20. One of the worst car parks though!
I've had plenty of R&Rs in there, never had a real "biggie" though so cant see why they banned me!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
seems to me most scanners are being taken away, is it easy to cancel things on the self scanners?0

You still have to get an assistant to cancel a transaction don't you?, I also avoid using self scanners now because CS staff are recently trying to imply that i've used a self scanner on purpose, so now I prefer to let a Tesco cashier overcharge me.0 -
I went to one Extra which seemed to be on the ball. Virtually the entire CD/ DVD/ Games section had no SEL's (or price stickers) which made any spots impossible. They also seemed to remove nearly all the boxes from the LCDs they were selling (no self scanning I guess) and the food section only produced some 'finest beefburgers'. A very frustrating trip. I had to go to another store to find some real R&Rs!0

Hi Spa2k
Could only fit 1 fridge in the car (at a time)
Washing machine..don't need one..have a wife
LCD TV..only one for each room.
So you won't need a dishwasher either? :mad:0 -

Report them to TS - not showing any price info is an offence, and opens them up to an unlimited fine!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
