I have bought 10 bottles of diet pepsi and 10 bottles of pepsi max before, ideal for school lunches at 43p each and they called someone over to authorise it. I found it quite amusing

Depending on their tills sometimes you cannot key in a quantity over 10 without a supervisors key/code. Could be easily avoided by keying 5 then another 5 but if they can't add to 10 it would be mayhem.

As previously posted chocolate orange 2 for £3
    I bought 4 of these today on 2 for £3 basis, 3 for £5 kicked in and discount of £2.88 i think so i was charged 4 for £5. Got r&r on all 4 £5 refund but hoped she didn't notice 4 for £5 cheaper than 2 x 2 for £3 equalling £6
But i did find another store with the offer being 4 for £5, not sure whats happening but buying anymore than 2 is risky
  • It's a good job you ain't a fish spa2k, as you bite every time ! Off downstairs, to tackle the wife with my rod. :D :rotfl:
Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items. :D

I saw the 4 for £5 but couldnt see any 2 for £3- is this on an out of date sel.
The store I went in to was red hot on pricing today.

hi got gift sets of chocs and champagne for £20 box stated £18 no r &r given in store as they said i was not entitled to it, came home rang CS who also agreed with CS is this right or not? thanks chloe.

I bought 2 chocs and champagne gift packs today, I walked with the CS to the display and showed her the £18 price on the box, she stated that the shelf price of £20 matched the bar code but I politely replied that I didn't compare bar codes. She also looked at the other items on my receipt. I received a full r&r.
I've found that being polite, buying other essential items, paying cash and buying just a couple of r&r's at a time is working for me.:j

i really don't know where I am going wrong I have been to TESCO about 5 times this week and not one bargain, I am unable to lose my R&R virginity, everything I read on here I write down and trundle off and -nothing. Went for the Dab radio that was being discussed this morning but SEL correct.

  • Hi,

Wonder if you'd be prepared to answer a couple of questions for me ? I've put it on open forum as others may be interested in any reply you can give. Apologies if this is 'old hat' but I'm new to this.

I just scored on some McVities Temptations biscuits, SEL 5.99 but charged 7.99. I'm pretty sure this is a current offe valid into November but other stores in my area are not displaying the 'offer' SEL. Would I be right in thinking that if it nationally advertised on the internet that individual stores must honour the offer, whether or not they are displaying the offer SEL ?

What is T policy on refunds if you do not have a receipt ?

Would be very grateful for any advise,

    Regards
