Haha, true!
If you are looking for a decent phone for mums and such, I also noticed while prowling around Prepay Wizard (waiting for my pre-order!) that they're doing the Nokia 2730 for under 40 quid. Not bad considering its got 3G. http://www.prepaywizard.co.uk/nokia-2730-3-payg-phoneTHE BIGGEST_MINT0 -

My mum only wants PAYG and she'd like touch screen if I can get it, so i'm trying to make sure she doesn't inadvertantly get a phone that you can't switch the mobile internet completely off, it's why i was considering android for her because i know the internet is easily removed and it definitely wont be being used by accident. WiFi would prove a bonus so she can go online on the sofa if it's something quick she wants to look up online.0 -

Ah fair enough. I'd definitely recommend Android for that matter.THE BIGGEST_MINT0 -

Don't forget with Orange you also get to use T-Mobile's network, as they have merged. So if the Orange signal is weak, the phone will switch to T-Mobile (assuming they have a signal) and all for no extra cost. You have to register for this, but it works seemlessly.0 -

Yep. Got mine through too, so hopefully it will be here tomorrow! Looked on the site and they have changed the status of the handset to: "NOW IN STOCK: Ready for FREE, fast & secure dispatch by courier"

Don't forget that Amazons 'Kindle' software is available from Android Market, so you've got an 'eReader' for free as well, with all of Amazons free books etc. Works very well.0

Worked out that Prepay Wizard deal too. After Quidco is applied, you only pay around £92. Since it comes with £10 top-up, pretty damn good!
Mine arrived today from Orange (bought it on the phone), got it for £79.99 not including a top up because I had an existing orange phone - got it a few weeks ago for 10.90 including a £10 top up for orange wednesdays. Seems OK although have only used it on household wifi so far, not topping up until Christmas as I am packing it away until then. Not used to new fangled touch screens so will take a bit of getting used to. As far as I can tell, not as many apps for android as its rival but maybe in time. Its better than my old windows mobile phone anyway.0 -
What info did you guys need about your existing Orange phone to get money off? I've got an Orange sim card somewhere but I can't find the phone it's in! I've got the number saved somewhere though, it would be fab to get a few quid off as I was after this phone anyway.:j30/7/10:j
