Resort Hoppa have been owned by A2B, for at least the last couple of years.
I've never had any issues, but whenever they change their local agents you'll have teething problems, same as anybody else.0 -
If you use Resorthoppa as normal with a discount code you are charged a debit card fee..mine was £1.50 on a £4.74 transfer, If you use 'Topcashback' it goes up to £3.00
This is surely a ripoff, so dont use topcashback.
Alpharooms are the same price with no debit card fees! (Visa Debit)0 -
In short the transfer I booked through Resort Hoppa failed to turn up. I rang both local and emergency numbers they provided 4 times with no answer. I then found a UK number for Resort Hoppa and was told to take a taxi (at a cost of 92 euros) and apply for a refund on my return. I did this the next day.
1) It took 11 WEEKS for them to reply to my original email
2) I provided all the information they needed but they still managed to investigate a completely different journey taken 2 years ago and gave me false information saying I didn't make this transfer when I did. Appears either their record keeping systems are awful or they just lie to their customers.
3) I was told they would refuse to investigate my complaint further unless I could produce the SMS confirmation message. I no longer had this (new phone) and then 4 hours later they emailed me with it. I don't know why I needed to provide them with this information to further the investigation when they already had it.
4) I was then emailed to be told as it had been"longer than 28 days past travel this makes it very difficult to investigate a complaint if we receive your feedback however should you respond to us we will try our very best to investigate the matter further or correspond to you." See point 1!
5) I produced a bill showing I had called local and emergency numbers 4 times. I was told I didn't make enough attempts to calls these numbers! I was then told that I should have given them more time as the office was dealing with other customers. But the phone line wasn't engaged, there was no answer and there was no way to leave a message.
I have been fobbed off during every step of the complaints process. I asked repeatedly for a phone number to speak to someone directly about this and was ignored. Will never use them again.0 -
Keep well away
In the summer we booked a private taxi transfer from Faro to Albufeira with Resort Hoppa it was a disaster.
Waited over a hour at Faro because they did not have enough drivers for the taxi,s0 -
Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but does anyone have a number for hoppa.com? I'm still waiting for a refund over a month after cancelling a booking.0

Could have started a new thread..........If you google hoppa it would seem they have a website with contact details but no phone number just a form to fill in. If you go to saynoto0870 this number is listed 01483 804803 don't know if it works though......
