    I think i'm definitely going to tell him he called again last night (he is at boarding school) and asked for an entire collection of warhammer 'things' :eek: to which i said NO and that he had to save up his pocket money from school & home to buy it himself!

    well quiet in my house as i'm working at 2pm til 10.30pm then i'm morning shfit tomorrow morning 7.30am til 4.30 so at least I won't be spending any money this weekend lol x

  • LOL that is the good thing about going out to work...you can't spend the money if you haven't got the time ;)...being a SAHM i get so bored...and ebay & catalogues are my downfall on a bad day ..oops! Have a good day at work!

    Hi Abba1772

    I agree that children should be taught finance management in school, banks should also be lending more responsibly as well. Giving credit cards and overdrafts to 18 year olds is madness. I think the minimum age should be 21 when they are classed as "adults".

    well work draggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggged in lol still didn't stop me spending money on ebay got my wee girl a couple of dance type films she loves cost me £3 for 2 dvds in a boxset so cheaper in the shops and I have money in my paypal so technically I haven't spent any lol

    also made another £2.50 selling one of DD dvd's she has "grown" out of lol so technically only spent 50p :rotfl: so i'm chuffed lol

  • I've stayed away from ebay this weekend wahey! that and catalogues are my downfall at the weekend when i'm bored at home alone and surfing the net ;) so i am well impressed with myself !! Well done for only managing to spend 50p though, what a bargain!

    well I had a NSD wentto my grans after to work and got my dinner so quite chuffed lol worked dragged in again off til Wednesday night woo hoo

    feeling really tired just now don't know why feel very sluggish something a early night should solve x

  • Must be something in the air!! I'm shattered too, wish my children would understand that sunday's are lie in days! Off to bed for me with a hot choc and dvd ( one that i bought and never watched lol- determined to get the use out of them all!)

    Got a interview for another job at 11am tomorrow so fingers crossed, I love my job but the shifts are not working out for me as the rotas always changes which is a pain for arranging babysitters but this one is full time but i would put my babies to bed every night and have my dinner every night with them so i would rather have that tbh
