I didn't realise that you could sell on Facebook I will have to take a look at that.

Ebay seems quite slow at the moment for some items that we thought would sell so may have to try Facebook. DD sounds lovely, very thoughtful. Kids never fail to surprise me xx

theres loads of selling groups on facebook have sold more on there recently than ebay....whatever doesn't sell i bung on preloved then ebay...anything to avoid the fees lol very penny pinching lol

yeah she is very considerate....at 8 she knows the value of money more than her father lol she could teach him a thing or too

woo hoo just made £3.70 on pureprofile doing surverys :j well chuffed more pennies towards the debt lol can't lift the money til i get to £25 so i have £15 more to go lol

Will be heading over to Facebook to take a look and pre-loved as well. I have so much stuff I could clear out and DH isn't keen on listing clothes on Ebay.

Yay to making money on surveys, I got a few invitations for some last night but I didn't meet their criteria. I am 65p from one paying out, I bet I won't make my tenner for ages

i'm the same with surveys took 3 today and didn't meet there criteria but still got 15p lol i've got £15 on mysurvey and £10 on the other one so not too bad plus i am halfway there on the yougov website for a £50 payout.

also try gumtree as well x

mmmmmmmmmmm bit bummed i can't pay anything else til next month as i'm getting the blinds installed but at least they way i look at it I'll have extra money next month as i only need to play for the blinds once hahahahahahahahahaha iykwim lol

to think that two years ago i was living hand to mouth and living off a credit card when married to my ex when we were earning 40k a year but here i am part time receptionist full time mummy and i have more financially sound and i haven't used to my credit card to fund my lifestyle or do up my new flat.....i've paid for it and saved up for it myself :T that makes me proud x

walked all the way to town (35 min walk) to go to the pound shop and spent £3 there on 12 Batteries, yes 12 of them for xander's remote control car lol and a big bottle of milk then popped into homebargains and bought a bottle of water for 29p and 4 cleaning sponges for 39p :j so i've only spent £3.98 at the shops lol

thats my blinds now up paid the gut the remaining £145 so thats me officially skint til the 1st lol oh well but my windows look good lol

woo hoo i sold a wii game and dvd boset on facebook and got £18 for them :j will just leave it in the paypal account and should i need anything i can buy it off ebay without having to route through my bank account x

And so you should feel proud you are doing so well. I used to use my credit card like a debit card - its madness. I don't miss anything now.

my ex was like that, he was spending on himself and i was worrying how to pay for it, it was awful.......I sleep so much better since I left I really do. He would think nothing of spending £150 - £400 a time on himself whilst i had to scrimp and save to buy things.....I remember the turning point for me was needing new cups and feeling so guilty for spending £9 on them that I went home and cried....Over £9. I would get my kids their clothes from ebay etc never pay full price for anything.

In a way being made to live like that has made me very frugal now and I am benefiting from it now as this time next year I'll be so close to being debt free and I can't wait whilst my ex hubby will be wallowing in his 24K debt (a £14k loan he took out after i left and splashed it on crap and a 10K care)
