Don’t know why I bother
was filling out the acceptance in principle form for the bank before our interview on Saturday and had to ask the hubby the dreaded question how much he has on his credit card. £2k...............2 f ing grand since December !!!!!!
im seriously annoyed he’s put £800 on his card for his mums camper can without even talking to me about it how flipping well dare he. She better pay it back or I’m taking a sledgehammer to it. It’s a van being converted into a camper van as they can’t afford a real camper van and hubby has done a fantastic job on it but I had no idea he was putting the repairs and parts on his credit card. I’m assuming the rest is on Xmas and spending during the sales. So I guess I’ll end up having to use my savings and pay off my Xmas present. Tempted to fling the iPad at him but I sold my old one.
anyway I’ve filled out the acceptance in principle form and we have been accepted so that’s a good first step. I filled out their incoming and outgoing form too so it looks good so far so fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.Sick of bailing this man out.............was constantly bailing out my ex husband and worrying about money but then again when I was married to the eldest kids dad we were 40k in debt this is only £2k but it’s hitting a nerve right nowNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.056 -
Oh no. You worked so hard to clear it too. No wonder you’re angry. £2k can easily turn into £5k as we all know and £2k is still a fair amount. Sending you a virtual hug xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

That's such a shame, you've worked so hard. I'd be furious too.
Congrats on the re-render fund and good luck for the mortgage too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Oh my goodness, that's so frustrating Abba. Hope he came home with his tail between his legs!
