I had a productive day yesterday spent 6 hours power washing my driveway and capped the night off with a visit to a&e with Abbie who had a really bad it's attach.........she nearly dug herself into my couch she was in that much pain but she's ok they've gave her muscle relaxants to get rid of the muscle cramps poor wee soul

Final direct debit for the loan came out today finally due to the bank holiday so need to phone the pm on Friday to close the account and get them to email confirmation that the account has been settled :T

Got a newbie starting today for 6 weeks can't complain all pennies will go toward the holiday fund........so far I have £41 in my account and £300 in my pre paid card which has been there since last July :rotfl: even before I had booked the holiday :rotfl: so not too bad

Already trying to organise the day out to Livingston to do holiday clothes shopping probably be the first weekend in June Kk doesn't want to come as it's a long day and tbh I've got most of his things in for holiday anayway just need a few more tshirts and a pair of beach friendly shoes as I've been buying him bit in the sales so he's nearly set :T

Doing the kiltwalk on Sunday, this is kks third kiltwalk and he's only 5  so proud of him so far we have £40 in sponsorships :T not bad considering we only got the form on Saturday :D

Got physio again tonight hopefully this is the last session as other shoulder seems to be looking for sympathy :rotfl: but my shoulder with the nipped nerve is getting better every day still a bit dodgy to put it up my back but it's getting there slowly but surely will be asking him for strength exercises to make my shoulders stronger as I don't want that pain again doing a couple of extra shifts this week so got the money to cover it so it doesn't need to come out my account :T

Lots of running about today as usual got a nursery pick up at 11.30am ........need to remember this :rotfl: then I have two nursery drop offs after lunch hope the new mindees legs don't fall off :rotfl: bless her xx

Right off to put washing outside and let the wee ones out the back to play as it's nice a cool at the moment xx

I've booked with on the beach but I think we are flying with Thomas cook .......there was no option to book seats when I made the booking online but once I paid the deposit I could manage my booking online on their site and there was a option to book the seats together.....kinda grudge paying £180 to book seats together tho........I would get peace from my kids if I didn't book them together and we got sat apart ........decisions decisions :rotfl:

LOL yeah my 9 year old son could and would talk for the full 5 hours flight lol, hmmm interesting

I will give TUI a ring and see what we have to do lol xx

Hi Abba, I've skimmed a large part of your dairy and am coming out of lurking to pick up on your dilemma about paying for sitting together on flights. Here is a quote from Simon Calder the travel writer about this. Could save you a lot of money - even if the teens are not sat with you, I assume it is the little one you are most concerned about anyway.

Q: I am taking my two young children on holiday. My travel agent told me I would need to pay extra to make sure we sit together. Is that right?
A: No, and it is one of the most scurrilous claims made by travel firms – driven by the airline’s greed for making more money by selling seat reservations. The Civil Aviation Authority is clear: if you are travelling with under 12s, then each of them must be sat with a responsible adult (which could be adjacent seats separated by an aisle). If the airline provides you with boarding passes that break this rule, then it’s their problem, not yours, and the flight crew will need to sort it out.

This was posted on his website FAQ's if you want to check it out .

I hate these rip offs so hope this is helpful.

I have seen news reports though that people had to get off the flight as no passengers would move to allow this to happen?

Which is probably why we end up paying to sit together lol as I wouldn't want to risk losing the flight

I'm sickened by how much I've cleared as I've still got debt but it will be getting tackled

1st is to clear the very account
2nd is the Argos card in December
Then I'm tackling the barclaycard  in the new year hoping to have this cleared by may as I'll be paying for a holiday to turkey :T
I might even clear my laser eye account before we go on holiday

Oh check me ......a plan til June, this would make ME technically debt free ;) but I would start tackling hubby's debts so our household is completely debt free hopefully by the end of 2019 :D

Been having a wee read of my diary from a year ago like to see how we were getting on then and I've just noticed I've completed everything on my list that I wanted completed by June this year :T
