Well I've crunched some numbers and I've made the call :eek:

I've paid £1196.94 and the final direct debit is due to come out on Friday then it's all gone

This means the only debt I have is £430 on my Halifax card and the car payment which will just run til the term is up.

I'm so pleased with myself :T:T:T:T

Now my focus is on the holiday .........nipped to matalan and bought both the boys pjs holiday at matalan had a coupon for £5 off so got four sets for £19.50 so not too bad considering xanders are teenager sizes and Kk was marvel

Right now that that job is done I'm off to try and finalise my account for last year and that'll be a huge weight off my shoulders and I'll be prepared for the tax credit renewal palava in June/July time

Wow so pleased for you, well done. That Halifax card will be gone in a blink of an eye and a lovely holiday to look forward to.

How long in left with the car payments?

Who are you flying with? how many is that for? We are flying with TUI, we booked the holiday package with villa plus and there was no where to chose to pay to book your seats so I am assuming I can just ring TUI when they open and pay for it then? is that right do you know? there will be five of us xx

My car deal runs out in 2.5 years would have been 1.5 years but the brand new car we had for less than a year and that we handed back has extended the agreement :mad: and we will have a balloon payment at the end of it but I plan to save up for this payment so we aren't tied to another finance deal

But once my Halifax is cleared this will be the only debt payment in my name which comes out of my bank as I don't intend to go crazy with the credit card or my very account :rotfl:

After my holiday my intentions is to tackle the window loan we have as this is technically on hubby's name but I want to get this paid off before Xmas as this will free up another £138 a month

Interesting re Very account.
I got one to get 20% off my Shark & paid off over 3 months.
But way too adictive with the easy pay.

I've booked with on the beach but I think we are flying with Thomas cook .......there was no option to book seats when I made the booking online but once I paid the deposit I could manage my booking online on their site and there was a option to book the seats together.....kinda grudge paying £180 to book seats together tho........I would get peace from my kids if I didn't book them together and we got sat apart ........decisions decisions :rotfl:
