I just phoned them to cancel the one I managed to order last night - they said there is a problem with them and are wrongly advertised and had to phone over 200 customers yesterday, how many of them was MSEers???0

ive sent a complaint email as the doll was still on site for £14.99 when i got the call they hadnt even removed it
anyway hubby has managed to get 2 at sainsburys sale for £22.50 so still got a bargain0 -
I got same phonecall as everyone yesterday and offered a refund or to go ahead with order, so i chose refund and they said that was fine. Now i have just had an email saying the item has been dispatched :eek:September wins - Quizonaut - Stress-out CD , Keno.com $43.500

I recieved a voicemail yesterday asking me to call them, i then returned home this morning from a hospital visit to find the box outside my front door, with the First baby Annabel insde. I emailed Sainsburys straight away and recieved this reply. I will be complaining, don't know how far i will get, but i love to complain lol.

Has you can imagine i was not best pleased. especially since they haven't tried to call.
I have sent a lovely email back :mad: i have been and purchased the original one plus a couple of other bits so i am happy, But i am not telling them so. and the fact that i have been overcharged for an 1/2 price item this morning, i bet whoever opens my email this morning really wished that they hadn't done so.0 -
To be honest im not sure why everyones so cross, yes they made a mistake and yes they have owned up to that i dont think you can expect anymore. I too have recieved 1st annabel and need to return my 1st reaction was being cross, i havent been offered postage refund, but im going to return it via my store at some point this coming week. We all knew it was an error on their site when ordering so why be so cross?
I would be cross if they tried to cover it up, but they havnt they told us all its an error. People make mistakes0
