Thanks Dundeedoll. I wouldn't have remembered her name if I'd tried all day. Why did QVC stop selling that stuff by the way, do you know?

I still use the Nail eat/drink............it was Carolyn Sears from Supernails...........used to be the thing on QVC. She was always on there.......with another blonde woman I can't remember the name of.

God, how sad is this.........I think I can still remember the order number from about 1996  210 098???????????

If I don't wear polish clear or coloured, my nails are terrible - as soon as I wear polish they grow long and strong.

So did I, until I discovered Nailtiques. That seems to suit my nails even better.

No not Alison -it was Carolyn's partner Barbara.

OPI nail envy is briiliant too. Used the matte one last time and it worked very well.

Update time - I did grow my nails and found a great hardener that really helped things along, Boots Expert extreme strength - £4 but I just don't think longer nails are for me:( I couldn't bear chipped nail varnish and the filth under my nails made me cringe despite my constant cleaning, I just felt rotten all the time so snip snip and they were gone:DIts good to know that I can do it and admittedly my hands looked a lot better, more slender and elegant but all in all long nails just don't suit my lifestyle, thanks to everyone for the good advice:T
