  • Hi all :)

    *tired* *tired* *tired*

Which is why i missed updating on here yesterday :o - i try and get on here everyday just to nudge myself in the right direction ;)

Right now i am just enjoying a glass of wine  after a truly yucky! week at work :( i felt it was deserved x

Anyways i didn't move 5 things from the room yesterday - just 3 - so that leaves me with 7 to shift today  - still it all needs doing and will certainly make the weekends bigger decluttering jobs easier to tackle :D Part of the reason i didn't get too much moved yesterday was because i had to move *alot* of things in a room i had already done - although i had done this room as well as i could last time - the *need* to put some items in here for easy access meant some items (which just aren't really used at all) had to be put into loft storage. So basically moved 2 large items which are used virtually daily into an easy to access space but had to totally re-do that space first ... and breathe :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So 7 items to move today - will see how i get on with that ;)

Got a payment through for an item i sold on eb*y so awaiting that hitting my account, got some money through from 1 of the survey sites i use ditto on this too - found £1.01 :T - actually found another 5p but a lady had dropped some other money and asked me to pick it up for her and i did and handed her the 5p too saying 'is this yours as well?' she said 'no but i'll have it!' Bah! How rude! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Haven't slept at all well all week - hoping for a seriously good lie-in on satday :o - i *truly* looked at myself in the mirror after getting up and was truly shocked at how shattered i looked :o - amazingly, this isn't something the doctor sees when i go in about my thyroid - went the other day and got told i'm fine :( - i would *love* to feel that way. Maybe next time i go i won't be so worn down by them brushing my feelings about tiredness and anxiety aside that they'll actually realise the impact its having :undecided

Rightio - free bingo awaits - my life is all rock n' roll y'know? :D

  • Hiya all

Oops didn't get my 7 things moved last night  - shouldn't be too bad today though as i've targeted 4 areas in the room that i want to focus on - now if i do get these done today - which will mean moving alot more than 7 things - i'll only have 1 significant area left to do on satday and a very easy area as well (not much in this bit and is probably just awaiting a clean :o)

So that will mean this big and difficult room (as it had alot of things in it that shouldn't have been but which really didn't have anywhere else to go) will have been done :T:T:T And everything in it should be in it because it is needed or loved :D

The next room really should be my bedroom given that next month is november and i think i'd be better off listing any clothes i'm getting rid of before xmas - ooh! time to lift out all those pretty dresses *sigh*

Which reminds me - i somehow managed to buy 1/2 a top yesterday - so today have got to get myself into gear and go and get the other 1/2 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: OH might come with me for the ride but shouldn't be too stressful as we'll both be going to different shops :)

Need to go for a run today too but i've done something to my foot - must have done as i came down the stairs just 1 step at a time today - as in 1 step and then bringing the other foot to the same step - i think its my shoes :( But i'm not buying any more for work - these are the 2nd pair i've had to get because they just get completely worn down - wear them to p/t work then walk about 3/4 mile for the train go to f/t work then return home but still they should be sturdier - although i confess to buying them as they were cheap :o

    Hi all :)

Am coming on here to try and give myself some much needed ooomph! ;)

So far today - had a huge laze about this morning - partly because i was waiting for OH to come out with me - and he then told me he wasn't coming bah! So scootled off to pick up the other part of my top :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Been for my run which left me shattered, sweaty and very pleased with myself for getting it done :j:j:j Had my necessary shower and have now got the washing machine on - i'll wash some pots once thats finished

I've got some dry clothes that need moving too :o

So far in the room i'm working on i've moved... 2 very big things :T:T:T - still some way to go then, but i'll keep reporting back here as it does nudge me along ;) Nothing else discovered for eb*y :( Currently playing 2nd free bingo also :) Checked my eb*y 2 small value items will sell and a spattering of watchers across a few other things - hoping for some sales there :)

So the plan is - once washing finished get it dried and wash some pots. Continue moving things in / from the room i'm working on *and for me to do this in a logical manner i.e. an area at a time :p* and posting on here to keep me going - plus got to get me some lunch / dinner sorted out :D

:wave:Hey DDFW, hope everything is well. Will catch up properly soon. Sorry I haven't been around.

Seriously - half a top??? :rotfl:

Hope your foot is better soon, and well done with the decluttering and sales!

:oi know :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - am just pleased i discovered this before trying to wear it  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lovely to see you posting again jwil :D

I've just popped on to say i've moved over 20 things :T:T and... and... and... completely decluttered 3 of the 4 areas i was focusing on today :j:j:j the room looks fabby already :T:T:T and i'm just about to start on the 4th and final bit for today  A few very small bits turned up for e-b*y too :T:T:T just 99p things but they all help :D

I can't do more than this as its OH's stuff as well that i need to sort out so i'll be taking him to task with that tomorrow - should mean by tomorrow the whole of the room will have been thoroughly decluttered and cleaned :T:T:T

In the other rooms the decluttering has made a massive difference because if 1 thing is left out its a) obvious and b) easy to move into the right place :T Before there was that much about that shouldn't have been it was just too overwhelming to start :o:o Have to say though, after today i feel loads better already about getting up in the morning and not going into a series of rooms which are, in truth, totally amess :o

    Hi all :D

Again i had a very long lie-in today - and it wasn't as scary when i looked in the mirror :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been for a nice long walk which was good to get out in the fresh air :)

Now to start on the final area of the room i've been working on :j:j:j Although i say final part - there are 3 items in the room that still need to be re-housed but these are items that i need help with from OH and i should manage to get them done over the next few days ;)

Keep checking on my eb*y :o - stuff doesn't end until tomorrow and i obviously just want it all to sell really :o

Hope its a good satday for all:)

Very nearly finished the area we've been working on - just some bits for OH to do - they are his things so its not really something i can do - will just have to keep giving him gentle reminders ;) for the rest of today Mwahwahah :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Washed an absolute mountain of pots and about to start on tea and then jump in the shower - up and out early and its just easier to wash and dry hair like mine the day before as it takes forever to dry.

Ooh and turned up a couple of small bits for eb*y from the area we've done today too - again just 99p things but they are things that don't need to be kept any longer :T:T:T

Does mean i've a little pile of things that need to be listed during next week - will just try and get 1 or 2 on a day :D

Right, tea won't make itself so i'd best get on :)

  • Hiya all :D

Just how quickly do the weekends go now? Spent a whole and happy day with OH yesterday  which was lovely :D But sadly i've spent a little too much :o *eep*

Time to get all my pennies in order :o

Well chrimble is coming up and i've got about £50 left to spend on this  ish - basically as i've got most things for people just an electrical item to get so thats got to wait until nearer the time

Things i need to pay for yet:~

    Spends for hols - £200?

    Boiler - £3000 :eek::eek::eek:

    Windows - £600 ??? :eek::eek::eek:

    Yikes!

So new plan is to keep track of 3 things: ~

Extra money coming in - this is everything over and above income 1 (f/t job), tracking the date the money comes in and more importantly how this is spent

This leads onto the next part - the PAD focusing on 1 debt at a time (while keeping up with minimum payments on the others ;))

And also the bit that i'm trying to curb - the spending - this is on all the more general things

I'll try and keep this at the end of each post so you can all skip past the dull bits ;) Although i could do with some stern words on the overspending :naughty:

Little round up of my weekend :) - apart from having a lovely bit of quality time with OH :D i sold some bits on eb*y - oddly i had several items with lots of watchers which didn't sell :undecided - will re-list these when i can  The bits i sold only come up to about £10 but it all helps and its better selling things than not :)

Friday i got less done than i'd hoped due to being poorly _pale_ - this spilled over a little into satday - Still got to the end of the book i was reading :T - glad about that as it really wasn't my favourite read. And just about finished the room i was working on - moved a couple more bits today so all good there :D Usual housework done too.

Typical rubbish day at work - back to counting down til the weekend :o

    Morning DDFW

You are doing real well with that room and being able to sell some of it is a bonus :)

You sound very focused and that is good. Your 3 main goals are quite clear and you have paid of £6420.64 this year. That is amazing.
    Keep going DDFW :):):)

Have been feeling horrible and now have an inner ear infection but antibiotics starting to kick in and hope to be back on form by end of week. Have got some voluntary work sorted:):):) Pleased about that.

Pressure with family easing a little bit but it has taken its toll.

Sorry for raving on .... love reading your posts DDFW. They are always so pleasant and uplifting.
    God bless

Hey DDFW, glad you had a good weekend and got some time to spend with your OH.

That seems really expensive for the boiler - we paid less than that for a new boiler and full central heating - is the quote for the lot? Or is it just because you are tied to a particular supplier?

Well done on the ebay sales! I'm afraid I've not been behaving when it comes to overspending, so maybe I need some stern words soon!

When are your hols? Where are you off to, anywhere nice?
