:T:T:T Well i've been for my run and as predicted it was very hard work
but am pleased with myself for getting out there and getting on with it :j:j:j
Just listed 2nd item on e-b*y and have challenged myself to listing 15 new items today  - i have not got 15 new items to list at the moment so it is going to be a challenge :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Righto! Onto item number 3 - expect many small updates from me today as i try and keep myself going
Oh - i also forgot to say because i went to a party yesterday i did not spend any money so all good thereCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

7/15 tantalizingly close to the half way mark - not yet started tea though  Righto! Onwards with the next items - books so may well list on amaz*n too - though not today - i'll be leaving that until i can get my head around it
Think i'll make a hot drink soon too. The decluttering does need to be kept up with as it is freeing up space but *hopefully* its also giving me thing i can sell and then throw the money at the debt :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Glad you had a good night DDFW, and yay to fitting in dresses! That shows that it's not always about the scales.
Well done on managing to get out for the run, and the ebay listings!
Shout if you want a hand with amazon.
My DH doesn't get the whole overpaying the mortgage either, I figure he'll soon come on board when he realises how much we save in interest and reducing the term."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks jwil - think i will need that amaz*n help
i am now up to 14/15 listings - just going to pop a couple more bits on and i've got myself a nice hot drink to try and help me to keep going
I want to list more than 15 now as a couple of things i've put on have only gone on at 99p - as thats pretty realistic so want 15 higher value items listed - even if they are only £1.99 :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Morning all!
Once again its monday morning and i had an epic lie-inIt was needed though and i am already thinking about when i can next have a nice bit of snooze time - maybe friday? I must sound so lazy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The thing is most nights i am getting into bed at midnight-ish or just after takes me at least an hour to fall asleep and then the alarms going off at 7.30am  - and i can't really go to bed earlier than this because i don't get home from work most nights until after 10-ish, by the time i've washed, got my thing together for the next day - come on here whilst having a cuppa :coffee: as my wind down time of the day  its then time to scoot off to bed
Todays plan once i'm home is start (again) on the next area i'm declutteringYes - again! i did make a little start on it yesterday and moved 3 items :T but then just kept listing stuff on e-b*y which was more of a priority due to free listings
Now the continued declutter is important as i've nothing else left to list
Jwil yes please for the help with amaz*n - i have books to list that i'm sure are worth a couple of quid and want them to go asap - i listed them on e-b*y yesterday but they've got no watchers  If i have them listed on e-b*y and amaz*n and sell off one site is it easy enough to cancel the listing on the other?
Checked my e-b*y and 1 or 2 watchers on things is all - i got up to 17 items listed :j:j:j - now to hope they sell
Right, better dash - if i don't report my progress with the next area i'm working on give me a nudge please
Hope everyone enjoys a good start to their week
Oh yes - have been pondering things again - as i noted about mortgage the other day so must come to a decision and update on hereCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi all
Not long home and about to make a start on the area i want to declutter next. Hopefully i'll get to the end of this room by the end of this month :T
Will need to accelerate things though to get to the end of the house by the end of the year
Need to check banking and see what payments i need to make - crikey yet again its monday and roll on the weekend :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I'm back
So i've taken everything off of / out of the area i'm working on put it all down and moved quite a bit of it already
There's some shredding that needs doing but the machines a bit loud for this time of night
Threw out some rubbish too.
Worked out where quite a few bits need to go too
Tomorrow it will be harder to get things done at home as i'll be here for less time but will aim to move 5 more things as its all slowly, slowly, slowly beginning to look a little better :T So maybe moving 5 things a day until the weekend which will make everything lots easier and better too :j:j:j
Still looking for MS's and not finding anychecked my e-b*y listings - still just a spattering of watchers. The area i've just worked on doesn't have anything e-b*yable sadly :undecided
Been thinking alot about the title of my diary and what i need to be doing to get there  Tomorrow i'll look at the food shopping budget and see what i can shave off that  I think what i really need is a good 2 weeks off work - all my jobs in fact - and not be running round after family in that time either and then i can focus on everything that i need to do and just put things in place for that. Sadly no time off work for me and even if there was there's always my p/t work where i really need the income.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey all
*yawn* *yawn* *yawn* *yawn*
I had the best of intentions of getting up extra early to make a great start on the day but just ended up getting up on time. Waking up at 3.15am was not what i had planned - i then tossed and turned until i felt drowsy and then... yep... my alarm went off- Thinking maybe i should just get up when i really wake up like that and do something and then go back to bed ? The thing is i worry about being too tired the rest of the day then as i am out of the house until like 10ish at night - it perhaps wouldn't be so bad if i got up at 7.30 and home at 6 but i'm up at 7.30 and home so late i don't know ? :undecided
Well i've come home and moved not just 5 things but 10 :T they were all small things but they are all small things in the right place nownow thats left just 2 things out of 1 pile of things that i had to move - and i'll try and get these shifted tonight
Will move another 5 items tomorrow after the massive difference this has made
Made quite a substantial overpayment today - couple of hundred :eek::eek: - partly because i took an item back and got a refund £30, cut back on shopping - and then thought i'd make things really tough for me by just paying the figure i wanted to :eek::eek:
Righto bedtime for me - done my free bingo, checked banking and checked for MS's xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
