Hope we both get some decent snooze time jwil :D

Urgh! Just printing off MS details for tomorrow and then i'm off to bed and i've got the alarm set for a ridiculously early time - for me anyways :o

This will be my first MS in months and i've tried to look for more again today but none out there :o

Boiler is still being a complete and utter pain - anyhows i've got my quotes in and now to get the money together  and then i can make a decision. Its just so upsetting borrowing the money again when i want my totals going down :o Especially as today i've seen a job i could apply for but its fixed term and in a few months time (if i was lucky enough to get it of course :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) i don't want to be putting myself under lots of stress worrying about how i'm going to pay any bills :o

Today has been p/t work, f/t work, checking e-b*y, doing 2 x freee bingo, checking banking and i think thats enough for one day as i am soo tired.

Okay need to make sure i get up in the morning and then the rest of the day will run much smoother - getting up an hour and a half earlier that is whatever time i get it will *have* to be morning otherwise i'll miss my shift at work

Hi all - well i was out of the house for most of yesterday and have lots and lots to do over the next few days - but again will be out of the house for much of the time  kinda hoping its one of those things where everything that needs to be done gets done and it all just falls into place beautifully ;) she says :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Have just given a piece of furniture away - well not quite - i have said someone can have a piece of furniture (they are family so i know that its going to a good home and they wouldn't just get rid of it again without letting me know) - but i;ve not told OH yet - Oops! :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It is my item but out of respect i should still let him know :o Still its in the room i'm decluttering and couldn't think where to put it and this person actually *needs* it so all good there :D

Having my first cuppa of the day having had a lie-in before going out this morning - although the lie-in consisted of me having about a total of 7 hours in bed - yep from the time i got in to getting up so not sleeping time - go figure :undecided So, not really too much of a lie-in and when i looked at myself in the mirror  i am definitely in the need of more snooze time

Quite why i have nabbed 2 free tickets to the movies then i don't know - except it will be a fun thing to do, its free, its something i want to watch anyway - the fact that i'll have a total of 5 hours in bed from getting in to getting up didn't figure too highly in my eagerness to go and watch this :o

Must get some knitting in today or tomorrow to do my bit for national knitting week :T just had a perusal around the charity shop and came away with a book - i have really enjoyed the authors other work and the money is all for a good cause :T

Blah! Lunchtime already - ok i'll get my casserole in the oven (just pre-doing this for various reasons) then i'll go out for a running - or sploshing in this weather - through the rain and then washing will need doing, things will need moving i'll need a shower - right getting a wriggle on now! Oof and i'm in work first thing in the morning :eek::eek:

Hope its a good day for all :)

    Hi DDfw

You are making me tired just listening to you. You are on the go so much. Hope you get a chance to get a rest over the weekend.

Any decision on your boiler....what about your item you are selling to get the windows done. Any joy there.

    Take care DDFW :)

    enjoy your run

    Thanks ebayqueen :)

i did enjoy the run actually - especially getting to the end of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - was actually really proud of myself :j:j:j

No interest on the item i am selling for the windows as yet. I am going to get a new boiler and going to use the overdraft for this :o its not interest free but i'm hoping to clear it in the next 2 months :o Its a huge job to have done and one i will feel better for and hopefully the bills will go down too

Got a couple of other little items selling though - all these things do help after all don't they?

Just doing my free bingo :D then off to get glammed up ready for a night out :)

Have a good day all x

Hey DDFW, you make me feel shattered too! :rotfl:

Although you've been busy, it sounds like you've done some fun things too - free cinema tickets are always good!

Hope you have a good night out tonight.

What book did you buy? :D

I think you're doing the right thing getting the boiler done, even if it does add to your debt temporarily. The amount of time it will save you, hopefully smaller bills, and a lot less stress should make it all worth it.

  • Hi all :)

Have not had chance to sit down and post all weekend - been working all weekend and trying to get things done as well as having a bit of a life :j:eek: - needless to say i've still got lots to do

Reviewed all my monthly challenges - some of them haven't even begun - Oops :p Lots to catch up on there then :o

And in a mo. i'm going to get on with decluttering the room i'm working on at the mo. - about a third of the way through the month and am not a third of the way through the room i'm working on now :o

Am looking forward to the weekend already - its been a while since i've had a proper lie-in and i'll be looking to have a decent snooze over the weekend :D

Got some listings ending on e-b*y tomorrow - its all my items that are a bit more costly (higher than 99p start price) so am hoping for some bids there - *fingers crossed* please people :)

I've sortof lost my focus on the debt :o - its because i'm trying to get the money together for the new boiler etc. and i'm worried about having enough money in place for that so have not been making overpayments as i am trying to make sure i've enough money for the bills :o - just had all the utility bills in and had to pay these  Yikes! Just better keep my eye on the spendy elves! And hope there is some money left after paying for everything that needs paying for and then i can throw some money at the bills ;)

Hi hon :D - i had an absolutely gorgeous time thank you :T - realised i need to get out a bit otherwise the debt is all consuming :o Plus i still want to have friends left after the debt has gone :o - its shocking the amount of things i have had to turn down - although £300 for a weekend away + having to drive there and back is not in my budget

Hope the boiler is fab when its done too :D

Right onto the next item i want to do

You are always on the go DDfw !!!!

I don't know how you get the energy. I am sure it feels scary to try and organise the boiler payment, but you will do it DDFW :)

Take care and keep going. You are doing very very well on your October challenge ... very focused.

  • Ho hum!

Just about to try and finish the job i started yesterday :undecided Got home and had to mess about with lots of things to do with eb*y :( Sold a large heavy item and was very pleased even though it did not sell for as much as i had hoped at least its some money coming in and a big item out of the way. The seller has now asked if they can cancel their bid :(

Another item i was selling had a question on it so have been replying to that and hoping it now sells - took ages to get all the information together :o

Oof and now i'm busy doing 2 x free bingo, trying to remember to check my banking and looking for MS's

Worked p/t today and f/t too

Hey ebayqueen :D sadly my October challenge involves reducing the debt and i have not done much with that so pretty gutted about the buyer wanting to cancel the purchase x

Hey DDFW, glad you had a good night out.

Grrr to bloody ebayers though - what was their reason for cancelling? People are so annoying. I'd just do a NPB on them though, but then I've got no patience for being messed around on there anymore.

Will catch up properly soon. :)

  • Hey all :)

That smiley little face is alot brighter than me at the moment! Been working p/t and f/t all week as well as trying to keep on top of the house stuff etc. etc. *yawn*

Delightedly i finished the cupboard i was working on for the last couple of days :j:j:j and it looks fab - all neat and tidy. Has produced several items for eb*y as i've now had my carboot :undecided ho hum! Well i hope they sell anyways ;)

Still not got any MS's

Not decided what to do about eb*y bidder though knowing me i'll just let them cancel their bid :o - it is very annoying though - especially as i need the little bit of money and the space. We will see

Nice to see you jwil :) and hi e-bayqueen too :D

Tomorrow i've got to get on with the next bit of the room i'm working on and i'm hoping by friday and then the weekend to have this room as clean, organised and clutter-free as the other 3 i've done :)

I know my cleaning / organising must sound very dull :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but the 3 areas i've done already are so much nicer to be in and makes the house better to live in, easier to clean and easier to get to the things we need to use and also to put them away again too :j

In other exciting news i'm off out to a party this week woo! :j and seeing family :j so all good things but will mean my free time will be limited so if you see me slacking off give me a shout! :D

    Aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddd... its bedtime!
