    Hi All

Jwil thanks for the info. about postage - i think the bigger worry is finding the amount of money i need to refund - my money is always this tight :o

Realised the obvious this week. I have a very strict routine which means if something happens to throw this off it takes forever to catch up on and I feel very overwhelmed and my self esteem takes a huge knock. Being ill forced me to take a step back on MS's and i have now made the decision to take very few jobs going forward. The fee's are very low for the amount of time involved doing the actual job and then the report as well and i need to spend my time more productively.

Whilst the Great Declutter continues this will mean putting more items on e-bay before the carboot. This gives me the flexibility of listing when it suits me and hopefully raising the pennies. Although this money and the amount is not guaranteed the actual profit from MS's has been quite low for me of late so hopefully i should not be too affected.

Today has turned out to be a day of trying to get jobs done~:-

1 part of college work completed
1 lot of washing done, dried and moved
1 lot of washing done and drying
    living room dusted and vac'd
    1 lot of pots moved
1 lot of pots washed, dried and moved,
1 side of kitchen cleaned down
1 lunch made and eaten :D

    mucho drinking of coffee

Lots more to achieve later including shopping (groceries), checking banking , returning some bits to mums, continuing with the great declutter, cooking tea, more pots, study, study, study...

right pots first and then to sort out some potatoes

I know that feeling about not having the spare cash, it's not nice at all.

Good luck with the declutter, I'm thinking I may get stuck in this weekend too, and see if I can achieve something.

    Hi All!

Yawn! Was up late this morning :eek::eek: Meant a huge rush to get myself out on time but managed it :T Think the oversleep was caused by still being under the weather which has meant hardly any sleep during the week and then my body just forcing me to catch up a bit :o

Now just had lunch and a bit of a break and am about to start on study which got neglected yesterday as things like shopping and appointments took longer than i anticipated.

So the order of the day will be study with e-bay, pots and housework to be fitted in around this :D Also feeling a little chilly but in view of trying to save some pennies am keeping the heating off as long as possible ;) Just going to finish watching the program i've got on and then start. I'll be back with progress reports :T:T

Well that is 1 hours work done and as a reward the heating has been switched on :T - it is freezing brr! On with the next hour and still lots more to do. Oh - sold a couple of bits on e-bay :j:j Once I get to the end of this bit of note-taking I'll then put some new things on for sale. Also just had a mini-break and went through hat box again but I am keeping everything in there so am happy that this has been thoroughly decluttered :D Will try and look at my clothes again later ;)

    Hi all,

Got some study done yesterday :D but want to do lots more  I have a pile of articles i need to work through so aim is to shift this little lot today whilst jotting down any ideas for my next assignment so busy, busy, busy. About to strip the bed shortly and get this all nice and clean and bed re-made ready for a muchly comfortable sleep this evening ;) Have split the day up into study, doing surveys, decluttering. Also need to spend a bit of quality time with my man today - feel like i've hardly seen him this last few weeks as we've both been very busy :) At some point i'll have a nice hot shower and style my hair too. Dropped a pan on my toe the other day - well put my foot out to save the floor and *youch!* one painful bruised toe later.

Must, Must, Must faff around with banking later - am sure there is a bill due out :eek::eek:

And breathe! Nope not had a bad day but just been for a very short run and my legs now feel like lead :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Had a bad leg before i set off but as i am now desperate to lose the excess poundage i am now lugging about with me i figured keep it slow (like i could go any quicker :rotfl:) and enough of the excuses :naughty: As my Oh helpfully pointed out - this has been my first run of the year  Let it be the first of many i say :j but with a lot less of that jumping up and down otherwise there won't be any energy left to run ;)

Ok, will read next article and then showertime! i currently have the 2nd load of washing in - there is even a 3rd load and this is after 2 loads yesterday :eek:

Hope you had a good weekend DDFW, my decluttering mission was not overly successful!

Oh well, I'm sure I'll catch up soon.

Hi jwil - weekend was quite good - still can't shift this pesky cough / cold thingymebob! which is probably part of the reason I have been sleeping for 12 hours straight these last few days :eek::eek: Not good considering how much study i should be doing but my body must be really needing it. But tomorrow *I will* get up on time. I haven't been late for work or anything as I've had a fair few p/t shifts cancelled this week  I was relying on these and am now currently scrabbling around trying to get the money in the bank to cover the DD's. :(

Mmm.. just read on Pickle's thread that she was enjoying a glass of wine last night  Sadly school night drinking is now a no-no for me as I have put my weight loss challenge into my sig. Does mean I'll be spending a bit more on food as I am cutting out bread also - i usually take sandwiches for lunch as these are cheap but now i'm thinking need to be eating something healthier - if anyone has any suggestions for any low-fat meals / snacks i'd be grateful :D I will be weighing myself at approximately the same time each week so that scales are consistent rather than weighing myself everyday which is what I can see myself wanting to do right now :o

Am off out with OH this week which should be good but I have no money to go so will have to mention this first i think :o

Dedicated, you need to slow down a bit. You can't get rid of your cold cos you are still in 5th gear, throttling it down the motorway! Thank God your shifts were cancelled (in one way, I know it's not great in terms of £).

And as for the weighing...I need to do a bit more of that, and a bit less of the wine drinking myself! Wine = weight. Remember it, Pickle! :rotfl:

I look with interest at what recipes might come your way - I may have to adopt a few myself.

Your body is definitely telling you to slow down DDFW. Try and take some time for yourself.

Hope you and OH have a nice time out this week and you get a chance to relax.

With regards to lunches - the cheapest way I find is just to make extra for the evening meal and take leftovers for lunch the next day. Do you have access to a microwave? My 'Monday roasts' make everyone in the office jealous :rotfl: I often find that it means I dish myself up slightly less in the evening too, so the meal stretches further. Win-win situation as I don't normally notice a difference!

Otherwise, soups/casseroles in a flask, pasta salads can all be frugal and filling!
