Lol Pickle - very sad to report that all my lovely MS's that I had lined up have had to be cancelled
No way I can miss f/t work tomorrow
and I still feel thoroughly rotten today. My lovely mother has made tea for me though
I am back with yet another plan :rotfl: am well aware that I did not list my 100 items on e-bay:eek: but as usual life got in the way.
So I had always planned to live here for a bit, do the place up, pay the mortgage down (on my previous wage I could pay the mortgage, all bills, run my car, have a social life, have savings and spend on myself a bit on my wage alone) and then move to somewhere a bit bigger. Today OH agreed we could move somewhere a bit more rural :T:T:j:j:j:T:T This emotional happiness - the fact that we can talk about these things and that what I want can become a reality has given me a little oomph and even though physically I feel rotten emotionally I am excited about things.
Now as I declutter, I can see it's not only going towards the debt and improving the flow of this house but will be less things to move - ok it is a few years off but lets face it I have been selling and decluttering forever. So yesterday I listed 7 things on e-bay and a few already have watchersThey are only £1 items but still it will all help. So today I will list at least another 7 things
:D:T Will report back later

Yeah! Have listed 8 new items so far - so between yesterday and today that is 15 things that have been listed - new things too, not re-lists. Going to try and get a few more things on too.
What I am going to do this week is update what I spend on the food budget. Like many this is an area where I can easily overspend and thus is an area where big savings can be madeWill need to be strict with myself this week and over the coming weeks too

Bleurgh! Did too much
Time to just have a relax now I think
Really don't feel i did enough this weekend - hopefully start to feel more like myself from tomorow and shake this pesky illness too and then i'll have to catch up on everything i have not done yet.:eek:
Got to rummage a few more things together this week for sales which will hopefully tie in nicely with the declutter.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Glad you are happy about potentially moving house, but you are simply refusing to listen to me when I tell you to slow down, aren't you?
I listed one expensive item on Ebay today (and had to pay for the privilege as well - I've got too used to Free Listing days!) at a pretty reduced price. I hope to God it sells as I need to get rid of it in order to have more space as well as get the money back from it. Pretty please, Ebayers - buy it! :T
Take care of yourself. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

Yes, and me too!
Good news about the potential move, that should help with the motivation!
Well done on your ebay listings, I've been shamefully poor recently and haven't put anything new on.

Hi all - pickle, jwil thank you so much for your kind words
but you know how it is - if you leave stuff its just on your mind that its there waiting to be done and then there is soo much more to do.
Well first things first get the grumbleweeding out of the way then i can move on from it  Did not get a response from the complaint I made the other day - rang the company and feel extremely disappointed initially in the way I was spoken to and then the way both my enquiry and complaint were handled. I will now definitely be recommending people do not deal with them when I used to just have positive things to say.
2nd grumbleweeding is I have just had contact from a buyer on e-bay asking where the item is they purchased over 3 weeks ago :eek: I sold this for quite a few pounds and the postage was not cheap either but they have only just contacted me. I have proof of purchase but didn't send the item recorded as this was not paid forWill be most sad if this does not turn up
*sigh*
Positives are - still feeling poorly - that's not a positive obviously :rotfl::rotfl: but dragged myself to p/t work and then f/t work. Bit behind with the studying now mind - will mean a huge catch up this weekend
Saw a robin today always a cheery site :j
moo2moo and Cheery's thread reminded me of getting out and planting my veg :T Still it is so frosty cold out I guess this can wait a bit.
Final update is about the great declutter :j I am still going through all the stuff in my roomI say all - there isn't that much to be fair but I have decided with some of my bits - like costume jewellery I have not been ruthless enough so about to put this right

DDFW, if you have proof of postage you should be able to claim anyway for your missing item if it doesn't turn up. Fingers crossed it does though, I hate it when things go missing.
I don't send anything recorded - it is a waste of time. If your buyer says it hasn't turned up and RM have not updated the signature online, you would lose a paypal case and have to refund. If the RM have a paper signature, they wouldn't refund you either, so you could wind up losing the item and the cash.
If you don't send recorded, the post office generally won't be able to tell whether it's been delivered either so you are more likely to get your refund. If something goes for over £41, I generally fork out the extra myself for special delivery which is fully tracked online.
Hope you feel better today xx"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
