Is target 7 the last debt?
Aw thanks ChocforeverIt is the last bill - but with no savings buffer i will use this as my cushion if the need arises - i'm hoping very much that that doesn't end up being the case but as alot of us on these boards know sometimes things happen that scupper the best laid plans.
How are things with you chocs? Hope you are good.
I am soldiering on- i've been under the weather for a few weeks now and this glorious weather which is saving me a fortune in heating costs
is unfortunately one of the things keeping me awake at night (being ill i'm alot warmer than usual and i can't cool down) so thats not helping with sleep and i can't just pop outside to reduce my temperature as its just too warm! - i must sound like i'm never happy with things :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Think being poorly is just becoming a bit of a drag now!

Hi Dedicated!
I read more than I post due to time restrictions and you still blow me away, but since you are so near to your debt-freeness, it seems like a great thing to keep hurling cash at the comparatively teeny-weeny debts. You won't know what to do with yourself once they are all gone...forever!
You're ace, you know. Start giving yourself some more credit!
P.S. Hope your hair is nice!
Pickle!!! Hope you're good hon ?
i am a bit embarrassed actually as i thought at this stage i'd be throwing everything including the kitchen sink at the debt - well you know what i meanBut as i said in my above post i've just been doing what i can for now. I think i picked up a bug on holiday - was ill whilst there and since returning so i'm just hoping if thats the case it'll be out of my system soon.
I'll have plenty to do once the debts gone though  I've got my OU course to do - so hoping i got loads of great time to spend on that rather than spending forever getting screened out of surveys.
What course are you doing Pickle ? I loved your diary - it always moticated me to get some work done reading about your deadlines for assignments and what you needed to doCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Thanks SFIt actually seems harder now that there is less left to clear - i think its because all the big stuff (easy wins money wise) has been done and having decluttered to the nth degree there is little left of any value to sell and may sales have been slow this month too.
Thank you for popping in to 'see' mex Will have to get over to your thread in the next day or 2 and find out more about your fabulous hols

Hairdressers:~ Saved £8 = £8 to target 7 (round up to £10 for ease)
Gas & Electric:~ Saved £5 = £5 to target 7
Petrol:~ May have saved £5 - will confirm Sunday
Grocery:~ OVERSPEND £11.20 - will be calculated as a monthly thing as the overspend was down to needing to replace lots of things - tootpaste, tinfoil, kitchen roll, toilet roll - and now have enough to last more than a week. i also bought some hair stuff that i *have* to use and it was less than half the price - can't believe i only bought 1but i'd already worked out that the shop was getting a bit more expensive than i'd like
19/08/12
Petrol:~
Did save £5 this week :T
Frittery Money:~
£20 left - will see how this goes as there is the rest of the week to get through plus i'm going out for a meal - we will see
Grocery:~ OVERSPEND £5.56
Running Total of Grocery Overspend = £16.76

Hang in there. It will only be a matter of weeks until the OD is paid off.
Are you doing an OU course now, or is it something you are planning on doing? I finished an OU degree a couple of years ago. It was hard work but I really enjoyed it. I am thinking of doing a masters at some point, maybe the year after next.
I have just started running and thought of you when I ran my first parkrun last week. Is there a parkrun near you? Everyone was really friendly there and it will be interesting to see if I can improve my 5km time (there is plenty of scope to do so!). It is free and sustained by people volunteering every so often and a bit of corporate sponsorship. It had a nice community feel to it.
Hope you have a good weekMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

And therin lies the problem...lots of dealines...less of the sticking to them! :rotfl:
To be fair, if you are feeling a bit under the weather, and a little less motivated as all the 'easy win' stuff has been done, it's little wonder you aren't feeling so motivated. Don't worry about it...keep on keeping on and you will get there anyway, espcially once the bug is out of your system and you end up with a bit more energy and get-up-and-go.Be kind to yourself in the meantime!
As for the OU, I have NO idea how you have managed to do it on top of everything else: your time managment skills must be stupendous (mine, I have come to realise, are less than sterling). If all you will have to do is work one FT job and then study, you won't know yourself!
And I've been doing some, erm, sports massage. Whodavthunkit, eh?! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!

Hi Chocforver - i've started OU but my next module isn't for a few weeks now - a masters sounds very excitingand congratulations on completing your course too
There is a parkrun actually but i'd not really describe it as being near me - its at least a 20mins or more car journey to get to it - probably longer with satday morning traffic. In a way i feel it would defeat the object of me being in the open air surrounded by nature by using a car to get there and the damage to the environment if that makes sense ? I seriously considered it for all the points you raise - the sense of community, support, friendship and friendly competition too. I now thinki i actually need to improve my running and be able to run to the park in time for the run and do that and then run back  *Eep!* My 5k isn't great at the mo. - maybe we should share times to see how we're doing ?CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Pickle!! :j:j:j I remember you talking about sports massage (i am sure i do anyways) Congrats to you :T:T:T
I've just checked my mails and sold a couple of bits AND got my £40 *nepoll through :j:j:j so today i'm reducing the target by £70 which is a nice good chunk - £20 due to not needing the train next week on the bank hol and also i used fritter money for train fare today
My time management is in no way fab - especially when i have a day planned and then my Mr informs me that he needs me that day to help him with stuff :eek::eek: There are times i'm sure that the boy thinks i'm his apprentice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Delighted to have paid a good chunk off today and delighted to hear from you again too pickle
