Not great as i've had a few comments made this week about my weight gain that i've found really upsetting

Sorry, DDFW, I will reply to some of the other amazing stuff you've been doing but really could not help replying immediately to this bit - what a d**n cheek for people to comment on your weight! I doubt these people are perfect physical specimens themselves. Oooh, this makes me cross.

Blimey Dedicated, you aren't half hard on yourself: I'm exhausted just reading what you've been up to! Please just be a bit easier on yourself, and that will take a lot of the stress off as you are massively productive but because you don't give yourself any credit for what you do, you're making yourself hugely stressed which is causing the not sleeping. Then you are tired, feel less productive...what's that, I hear you ask? Why, it's a vicious circle, of course! ;)

Take your foot of the gas pedal a bit and I bet you will find that you're still zooming along, but just with more time to appreciate the view! ;):p

Pickle is spot on with this post. :T

DDFW, you sound stressed, tired and unhappy. Award yourself some time off - i.e. when you are not at work, take it easy for a while. You can only be a human dynamo for so long at a time you know! :)

I forgot to mention this the other day, but yes I agree with p&f it is completely out of order. Your weight is your problem and no one elses.

    Hi All :)

Well again i have a bit of a mixed bag of things to update on! Can't remember the last time i posted so will update from Thursday - Not a good money day at all :o

First of all i was having a bad day - one of those days where no matter what you put on it just doesn't look right :( And needed to get out of work at lunchtime to get some air and get away from the office. This break took me into the shops - where i caught sight of my frumpy self in the mirror :( and i promptly spent £45 on new clothes to make myself feel better :(

Of course i did not feel better :o and i am returning £35 worth of stuff on monday which i confirmed i could return for a full refund if needs be. Because i was so silly in spending this money i PADed the £35 over to target 1  Thats not returning everything i bought of course as there is still £10 i've spent :o - i'll try this on and then see - its actually something i've been looking for now for about 2 years so will see how it looks and then make my decision. Still felt bad for spending the other £35 in the first place but thank goodness i can get my money back :o

Then i went food shopping, i had my list and got very few extra things - just a couple of bits that were reduced total extra spend here was £2.70 for several very reduced items so a good bargain. Got to the checkout and the shopping was alot more than i expected  By £20  I hadn't got premium brands, i hadn't got lots of unnecessary things so was really quite :( that the bill was accurate. It is just so expensive shopping these days :(

I finally arrived home to find a job that we were going to do when we had the money needs to be done NOW! :( Awaiting quotes coming for this but i'll be surprised if there is any change from £500 - it could even cost more :eek::eek: So ALOT of money to find again :(

Then i did a very silly thing today :( I was buying a couple of bits for tea and one of the things i got i thought was cheaper than it was when the girl said how much it was (just over £3 ) i was too embarrassed to say i thought it was about 85p :o:o:o basically there were different flavours and i had picked the dearest one but didn't know it i'd read the price label of the cheapest one which was slightly over the product i'd ordered :( It had better taste nice :o

The good news is i have sold a few bits on the bay of e - PAD and totals updated accordingly

I also didn't buy 2 new pairs of shoes. They were really quite fab and £5 a pair - its just they were the last ones in this range so were reduced dramatically. I liked them and pondered... I didn't need them, i didn't have the room for them, i want to have less things and not more, i'd rather keep hold of the £10 - in fact i'd rather keep hold of the fiver for one pair :T A big step for me as often i'll just spend that few pounds. This is something i need to do more - stop and think and then keep my money!

Very tired today - rubbish nights sleep last night - i was just too warm - so expect a better nights sleep this evening. Pouring down here so i will go to the carboot tomorrow but expect i'll be back from it early too. It wouldn't help to have a lie-on and go later as its always best to go early really i think although i guess it depends what you are looking for.

Inspired once more by wanting less things and by wanting to clear more space and now the desperate need to raise funds quickly i have identified a couple more things to list so will try and get on with these at some point but as i say i am tired :o

Thanks everyone for the support re. my weight issues and the comments. i think it doesn't help that i am uncomfortable with my weight but have been advised not to exercise currently whilst i have a potential muscle problem. I say potential as the doctor has identified it as such but i am back this week and pushing for a referral - i've wittered on before i think about how ridiculous i think it is that i'm taking painkillers everyday rather than having the source of the pain fixed - and now its even worse for me that not only do i have to take painkillers but that i can't exercise - to be honest even if i tried to workout its agony :(

Hey DDFW, well done for returning most of the clothes. :j

Sorry to hear about the house job too, we're waiting for a quote for one too and I fear it will be more than anticipated. We've got to get it done too.

Food shopping is definitely expensive as well.

Hope you get a better night's sleep as well, and good luck at the booty tomorrow. We always get there first thing too, it definitely makes a difference.

What are you having done hon ? I've PM'd you about ours, the only good thing is that it is a job that has needed to be done and at least it will be done now. Obviously the small matter of getting the money together is a bit of a concern so i will as ever be listing away on the bay of e to try and raise funds to pay for it :o

Going to go about this a couple of ways:-

1, Actually try the clothes on i am keeping - how do they look ? Do they fit well so i feel comfortable in them. If they are a top or a bottoms do i have anything else i can wear with them ? Will i wear them ? If they've not been worn for a while wear them within the next 2 weeks or get rid of them!! Most important do i feel that i look good in them ? Not in a vain way :p But more that i do not want to look like a baglady like i did the other day

2, Re-list the unsold stuff for 1week at the same price. After this re-list the unsold stuff at the price i am going to ask for them at the carbooty - on the bay of e there is a chance of them going up whereas on the carboot the starting price either stays the same or is negotiated down  And then if alot remains unsold start hauling it all together for a carbooty.

So i've crossed another item off my list - the garden drawer :D

Now i've got rid of the easier to get rid of stuff from my clothes then i'm going to go through them again and actually try everything on that wasn't tried on last time. Last time i tried stuff on if i was thinking of getting rid of it - so i already know i'm keeping all my jumpers and cardi's. Hoping to get rid of a few more things though this way ;)
