Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well
What a day i've had - first off was actually managing my first decent nights sleep in ages - no surprise really as i was just so exhausted on sunday! So of course the alarm went off and there was no way i was movingDragged myself up evntually with just enough time to put the bins out, make a PAD (made me feel a bit better before going to work), check banking, make a packed lunch and run out the door to the station - nearly took the car but wanted to save the petrol
Got to work and had a rotten day - resulting in a very stressed out me by the end of the day which wasn't good
Mind you this is skipping over the lunch where i went out and frittered money (£9) on a couple of pretty things to cheer me up and on a present for someone else too. And i had been patting myself on the back for wearing a new to me (carboot bought) outfit for the princely sum of £4! Then ate my lunch - sarnies as there is no microwave etc. to eat something hot - then i got home and ate an unhealthy tea
Not great as i've had a few comments made this week about my weight gain that i've found really upsetting
Anyone out there got any Flask recommendations ? I've got one but its rubbish really - whatever is in it ends up cool in a couple of hours. I've just been trawling amaz*n (got just a few vouchers) but there are soo many - i don't mind spending £25-£30 on a flask if it does what it says it will  I'm thinking this way i can take me a nice soup in which will be hot and healthy :T Plus when me and my fella go on an adventure then i can pack this too so saving money
I managed to get some more stuff on the bay of e yesterday - i had thought satday was the 10th when i day my third of the way through the month check - shows how frazzled i am
Going to struggle now on the bay of e listings - as i say the first 50 things to find is relatively easy and then it gets harder!
As i should hit the money target this month i need to push as hard as possible to get Target 5 paid off in full  Desperately anxious to pay this off after a few slow months on debt clearingCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Just dropping by quickly and have only had time to read your posts from yesterday and today , but blimey what a list you have there! Well done.
Sorry you have had some comments about your weight, some people have no manners !
You mentioned a flask and this may seem a bit odd, but I ordered two flasks at least 4 years ago for the girls from zgreat Little Trading. They are kids ones I think but are plenty big enough and they are still going strong. They have a wide neck and no cup , they use it for soup but spoon it out and also Dd2 takes in all sorts of concoctions in it other than soup, spaghetti Bol, curry, stir fry. You name it she piles it in and takes it to school for lunch. I fill them with boiling water before I make the morning coffee to warm them up, heat the food and they are still warm enough apparently by 1ish. They also use them in the summer for salads, I just put them in the fridge or freezer overnight to chill them .
Mr Pinot and I have both used them, he proudly sports Dd2's pink flask with his leftovers in !
Not sure if this helps !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Again you've done loads!
I can't recommend a specific flask, but I'm with PG - go for one with a wide neck so you can take food as well as soups. I'm sure I've seen them recommended on here somewhere, but can't remember where. Maybe it is on the old style board? Otherwise I think amazon reviews are generally pretty good, so if one was getting very good reviews on there, I'd probably pick that one.
It's something I've always thought about getting too, but we do have a microwave at work so have never gotten round to it."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi PG thanks for popping in and i will definitely look into these flasks and yes i was thinking something i could put broth in as well etc. so that definitely sounds good
Erm the weight comments were made by my family and my fellaVery upset about it all actually as there are other issues going on as well. Not to mention the fact the pharmacist said to me even if i stopped eating altogether i would not lose any weight because of my thyroid problems
Think she was just over sharing on the problems she's had as well
I *may* once i'm debt free join the gym - its the cost that puts me off and the fact that with my thyroid i can have extremely low energy so it could be a complete waste of money. I'm worried if i just run (which i'm not allowed to do just now due to a muscle problem) then i may just tone up at this size  Anyway thaty reminds me i need to get another appointment at the docs for this dratted pain i'm in - am just not enjoying taking painkillers everyday!
Hope all is well with you PG and glad you've got your internet back up and runningCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
