Sorry, thought I'd already replied :o We are having some work done in one of the bedrooms which will make it a lot more useable. Need it for some guests coming soon.

Well done on the sorting and decluttering! I've often found that I need to go through my clothes several times before I really get through it, and each time I find something I thought I'd keep, but then realise I don't wear it or am not that bothered about it, so it can go.

That'll be good jwil getting a room all ready :D I always think 'it'll be worth it once its done' - its always an upheaval for me having work done - the mess that is created :( but before that all of the moving / tidying / cleaning that i have to do before anyone can start work  The price for the job i'm having done has inevitably gone up :( figured i'd best let the chap know the plans for the adjoining area where he's working in case it affects what he needs to do - turns out it does and he'll have to come back out to re-quote :o Don't think he'll mind too much as we may as well get the price off him at the same time for the other bit too

Yep - i had really decluttered my clothes last year and then at the start of the year when i didn't have enough to pay the mortgage in jan and feb  I think the difference is this time my whole attitude has changed though - rather than lifting everything out and going 'but its so pretty' and putting it all back again :o I'm now thinking how does this look on me and how do i feel wearing it? If the answers not fab then its going! ;) Currently popped a top on for work today which may well be being washed and listed later - we will see - i am still very tired so not making any rash decisions as yet ;)

I meant to update last night but was soo very tired when i got in from work :(

I have been sorting stuff out for the bay of e but this weekend kinda got taken over so i have catching up to do :o

I'm also trying to sort out carbooty stuff - i don't *think* i've enough for one yet but the stuff thats not being listed on the bay of e is being put to one side now in the hopes of getting enough things together to warrant a stall.

Got to dash to the post office in a bit as i've several parcels to post - i've just had someone pay as well but considering i'm back at the post office tomorrow it can go then rather than me rushing about now :o

So i've been making progress on my payments, just not so much on the bay of e listings - although this could all change come sunday (my 1 day off work this week) hoping i can get a fair lot listed then and then the rest a week on friday and hit listings target. Obviously this will run into next month for the listings ending but i'm hoping that will just boost julys target. I'm predicting julys target for debt repayment to be £1000 + £250 = £1250 obviously this could change. And then £250 (again subject to the quote) to be raised to pay for the job thats being done. So again i'll have alot of listing to do!!

I'm still looking for a new job but not finding anything sadly

So i have just been pondering and there are some things that i *need* to do! The aim is to make my life easier and also to help me start to live the life i want to. I also have to accept though that i am not 100% well and i can only do what i can do. Ideally i'd love a day off work to get one aspect sorted out one week and then a day off to sort out something else the next week but this is not realistically possible - i just do not have enough holiday availability to use for things like this (tend to use for more couple / family things).

Clothes - i am almost ashamed to put this :o Because i must witter on about it all the time. But as i have said i have had a change in mindset just recently and so hopefully i will get my clothes to the stage i want them to be at which is that i have clothes to wear (suffer from loads of clothes and nothing to wear currently) My clothes will easily fit into my wardrobe without them being crammed in so they are easy to see and easy to access and this will make putting clothes away quick and easy and will mean there is not a load of stuff left out everywhere :o

The plan: Ideally a day off work to go through my clothes - get up early do my hair and make up so i look my best and then try stuff on and if its not fab it goes 1st eb*y then carboot then charity shop. This is the ideal. The reality is i don't have huge free days like that. I also don't have enough energy to tackle the job like this either and being too tired means i end up keeping everything :o So then the reality is that i need to break this down into manageable chunks. Todays being super easy and probably something i will do over the next few days too. I am wearing a top to work today - i've not worn it in a while and think i'll probably not wear it again but todays like a test day for it and it can then be washed and listed. When i've a bit more energy i intend to try my leggings on - i've quite a few pairs and have at least one i think i'll get rid of. So i will work in chunks with the aim being to get rid of 50 - 100 items at least.

Other things i want to work on and have been thinking about but will need to jot down the plans when i'm not about to go to work :o are : Shoes (same as clothes), bags (same as clothes), cooking (batch cooking again and meal planning, baking, Declutter, declutter, declutter!!!

Hope you all have a good day :)

The room won't be anywhere near done, but it will be a bit more useable. The main problem is, it's full and you can't get into it  So we've got to try and clear some stuff for the work to be done, but also so that the guests can stay.

Well done with the clothes sort out, the plan sounds good. If you don't feel comfortable wearing something after a day at work it's definitely time to get shot. Good luck!

Aw ta hon :) Pulled a few things out to get rid of and will add a target onto my monthly challenge of getting rid of 100 clothes - think i'm at 10 or 15 things just from tonight so thats at least a start. The trouble is some stuff i want to get rid of but my fella takes its personally because he really likes it  The thing is i no longer like the items, don't feel good wearing them so feel uncomfortable so now don't choose to wear them but as soon as i lift them out to list i'm made to feel guilty :o They're just taking up room now!!!

With the mood i'm in though i may not have alot of clothes left - especially for work where i seem to throw on any old suitable thing

Today has not been a good day - i've been pretty much too ill to do anything all day :( Have of course been to work and felt so ill i bought some lunch rather than have sarnies. I was hoping a hot meal would help me feel better :o Next week i'm hoping to start using my food flask so this will help - provided i have time to get some batch cooking done on my 1 day off - not too sure if this will be possible so if its not i'll not beat myself up over it but just make sure when i have a proper weekend off next weekend i'll definitely get cooking done then

Sadly no sales to report on the bay of e today and i'm not up to getting the newly sorted stuff listed just yet :o

Off to bed now and hoping i feel better tomorrow xx
