Well i guess i achieved some stuff today and some things do just take longer than expected too
I am now a tired bunny but will just whoosh! over the coffee table and then it is most definitely bed time - i'll just have to sort the rest of the stuff out tomorrow. It is handy having a list though as at least then i am more focused on getting things done!

Ta hon- it is surprising how long some things take to do actually - especially when the house is still in the land of chaos!

Bleurgh! and Yuck! and Yawn!
So last night saw me attempting to snaffle some sleep before it was time to get up. Sadly when i wasn't rushing to the bathroom was an upset tummyI was fretting over the debt
How much i still owe / How making payments to the debt is holding me back on other things / How can i raise the money to pay off what i still owe? / Why does everything seem to cost so much? / Will i be debt free by my birthday? / Will i be debt free by the end of this year? / All the other rubbish things that still need to be paid for - gas/ electrickery etc. and so on _pale_
Not good at all! I feel better when i am keeping up with paying things off and now i am way behind my target
I know the pressure to be debt free by my birthday is my own doing but i have even been fretting that this time next year i'll still be here and in debt (rather than here and tackling the mortgage which i don't really see as a debt like a credit card etc.) I have 0% offers coming to an end which is another reason to just get on with making the payments. I think i just need to ponder things for a bit  But the trouble is the near sleepless night has left me shatteredOh well - am sure we've all been in this situation with worrying etc. But i want to nip it in the bud before i'm like this every night - which i was at one point
Sorry everyone for the rubbishy post - just wanted to type it out to get it out of my system as it were - hope you are all ok xxCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Grumbleweed, grumbleweed - look away now to save yourself from a mini moan
So on my list i had a phone call to make - quite imprortant actually - or so i thought - and i hadn't done it yesterday. So i rang and was going through the information when the person interrupted me and asked me the purpose of the call today. I was quite surprised and responded that it was because they had asked me to keep them updated at each stage so thats what i was doing. Apparently there is no need to do this and they said 'bye' and was gone :mad: I was only phoning them as per their own instruction to do so  I know - not a major thing but it was a waste of my time and money for the call and i did feel the way they got off the call was a little unprofessional.
Grrsomeness!!!
And breathe...
Definitely not something i should be letting bother me but a) i hate wasting time, b) i hate bad manners and c) i am a tired and grouchy thing after my lack of sleep and worrying over my debt
So i am allowing small things to get to me - not good - in the big picture this is just a small thing i need not be worrying about - lets hope i have a good nights sleep tonight and wake up all refreshed for tomorrow xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
((((hugs)))) DDFW, sorry to hear you are feeling like that.
Try not to let this overwhelm you, I know you really want to be debt free by your birthday, but not at the expense of getting ill. If you don't quite make it by then, you are going to be in such a better position than you are now or were a few months ago anyway.
You've had a lot on this month, so presumably haven't had the time you normally would to do the extra fundraising bits. Hopefully you'll have some time to get back into it.
Can you utilise your commute time at all? That's the sort of 'dead' time I try and fill with boring jobs so I don't have to do them at home. So, for example, if I had a phone with internet access, I would use that time to do surveys or some of those other time consuming bits. If not, I'd be looking at what I could do on paper - maybe some notes about what I might sell, things to do, what needs paying when etc. If I couldn't do any of those things, then I'd take a darned good book and relax and treat that as my time to myself.
I'm sure none of that is any help at all
Very frustrating about the call though . There's no need for rudeness.
Hope you feel a bit better soon, and you know where I am"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

I've been feeling a bit tired of late so haven't been cracking on with things like i should
- so again, yep, a little plan
i was reading something the other day and it prompted lots of questions about how some of us have things for years (clothes) and we keep them because of various reasons - we love them, they're attached to a memory, sometimes as a measure of our size - as in 'i'll trim down into those jeans again', other things were gifts so part memory / part obligation, some were very expensive so we don't feel that we can get rid of them until they've been worn more and some were less expensive but never been worn yet so again we keep them. We also keep things because they are practical - we need them to serve a purpose as in work clothes / gardening clothes etc. Also we experiment with our style over time - sometimes this is honing and perfecting a look - other times its about a completely radical change. And yet the situation never occurs where we have completely empty wardrobes and have the opportunity to shop again and included on the rails are all the things we already had in our wardrobes - would we pick the same items again now ? If not why not? Are they out-dated, have we since realised the colour / the cut / the style are completely wrong for us now ? Do the clothes reflect the image we want to project now? Do the clothes suit the person we are now and the life we are living now? Do the clothes fit ? Are they flattering?
So lots of questions which all lead me to the fact that i need to go through my wardrobe properly. I suffer from too many clothes and nothing to wear! And rather than going 'ooh they're so pretty' and keeping them. i need to try the clothes on and answer some of those questions - do these things fit me first of all ?If they fit do they look good on me (as opposed to the clothes that just look good on the hanger) Are they the style of clothes i want to wear now?
Hopefully this will see quite a few items being lifted out for the bay of e
Next week i'm aiming to list 10 items a day - limits on the bay of e permitting. I've listed a few things this week and was going to do more but the camera battery ran out and i prefer to always list with a picture - just preference. I do have a lot of money i need to make so am hoping this will help.

Good luck with the wardrobe sorting
It makes a lot of sense what you say. I'm not into fashion, but I still have a wardrobe full of clothes, and I only wear the same few things over and over again. So there's plenty there that I should get rid of, but I don't.
I did manage to get rid of most of my 'I'll slim back into that' clothes though, as I figured that once I do lose weight, I will want to buy new stuff anyway. I've just kept a couple of items that I truly love and do hope to wear again, or those that remind me of some good times"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
