Already booked my doctors appointment for a daft-o-clock Thursday morning time  Slightly concerning considering i was 3 hours and 20 minutes late getting up this morning :eek::eek:
Saw me rushing to the post office. I also managed to get my cheques paid into the bankProbably a good thing i didn't go yesterday as the other £20 turned up today so i'd have only had to go back again anyways.
Once again the only spend today has been essential travel costs getting me to work so thats good. I don't really have any other money anyway so it'll have to do
I made a very small PAD.
I've worked out the payment i can make to my debts this week so will do that as soon as the money clears.
Still shattered but i really *must* do something about the state of the houseso will drag myself off here in a bit to get on with *something*
:o:o
Had an enquiry on an item i've got listed so have offered it as a buy it now if they are interested - hope so *fingers crossed*
I really need to list some higher value stuff on eb*y too - best get this place a bit tidier in the hopes i'll find some energy under all this stuff that needs tidying away!CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Evening everyone - how on earth did it get to this time
I'm not long home and have just had tea :eek::eek:
So a summary of today - a slight improvement as today i was up 2 hours and 34 minutes lateObviously the need to be somewhere by a set time is what forced me out of my slumber! So i was up and dashing off - shockingly minus a cuppa as i was just too late to make one
Made my appointment on time :T
Spends of today were: essential grocery shopping, usual travel fare to work (no means of getting this any lower AND £1 on a replacement pair of ear-rings - very similar to my favourite style which broke not too long back and match with alot of my other jewellery and outfitsBut also
it was a £1 spent that i didn't absolutely *need* to spend though
With the loss of my part time money i really need to consider each purchase. This will also apply to my food shopping !!! Spent a little too much on treats£5.27 :eek::eek: Ok so the treats should last for longer than a week but £5.27 is a lot of money really on just sweets and cakes
*no matter how tasty they are
*
Good Money News is that i've sold an item on the bay of e :T:T:T so some extra coffers to the debt - a good thing as i've not cleared nearly enough off of the debt this month at all
Hope all is well with everyone else
Oh, nearly forgot, got a few things cleared away yesterday so that is at least a start - seem to be mountains more stuff to shift
Will just check in with jwil then its off to bed and i *must* *must* *must* get up with my alarm tomorrow as i am at the docs and really don't want to cancel another appointment.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I have returned from the doctors and feel i am now taking so many tablets i will rattle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - i have my vitamins that i *have* to take but they won't prescribe  i have my thyroid tablets 2 other lots of tablets and now 3 lots of painkillers - lovely
And all this is for someone who doesn't take tablets unless it becomes absolutely necessary
I am now going to go and try and hunt out 40p - if i'm successful this will mean i can pay another £4 off target 1 today
i should have cleared target 1 by 31st so am a bitthat this balance is still here. All i can do though is think what went wrong this month ? (several things affected it - holiday and related costs, lack of bay of e listings and sales, no MS work, still no p/t work) And with this knowledge try and put something in place to catch up for the remainder of this month and for all of next month too

Well my little neglected diary it is time for an update
I think i have been posting away on other diaries and not updating here, nothing too exciting i might add
It seems that i have before me a weekend of adventures - at first i just had a little adventure for tomorrow - i have no idea where this will lead and am secretly hoping for fish and chipsi am then meeting some girlfriends for cocktails on saturday and visiting or having family visit on Sunday *phew* Lots packed in there - especially when i saw 3 days off work stretching before me and had the exciting things of eb*y listing, *the absolutely necessary tidying up
* and the general lounging around and relaxing that i hope for of a weekend
The downside though is that this going out malarky does not happen for free sadly - i'd try and watch what i spend with friends but imagine it'll be a case of we all pay equally to the bill  Still all i can do is try and have a fun-filled time whilst doing damage limitation on the spending
I am over £500 behind where i wanted to be moneywise this month - the target in my sig that i am so desperate to clear and had wanted gone by the 31st. So i cannot give up on my plans for the bay of e this weekend and already have a couple of items ready to list
I've also re-looked at the outstanding debt today - looking at what i still owe and when i plan to have this cleared by and where the money will be coming from and what the shortfall is and how best to try and meet that.
I have started overpaying the mortgage today though which has made me feel very cheeryEven though its only a small amount i still feel very good about it
Next month the mortgage will be my highest interest rate and i want to get into this habit with the payments.
Rightio, i'm going to have me a nice hot shower in a mo. ready to prepare for my early start tomorrow
Hope all are well xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey DDFW, sorry, catching up.
Hope you've had a lovely adventure today and managed to get your fish and chips
Hope you are not rattling too much with all the tablets and that they make you feel better.
Have a lovely weekend, you deserve it"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Ooof! It's been a few days since i last posted on here! Mainly because of this absolutely gorgeous weather we have been having - i have been outside topping up my vitamin D
Sadly the battery on the laptop died years ago
and even when i set the comp up outside with an extension lead i can't see the screen due to the glare.
So what have i been up to then ? Had a wonderful day out and yes jwil i got my fish and chips :T Which aren't very cheap these days sadly but it was after all a rare treat
I have also been socialising with friends this last couple of days too - all very nice indeed
i did venture out to the carboot which was very busy indeed - early morning wasn't so bad as it was quite cool but then the day just got very hot and i have to admit this didn't put me in the best frame of mind for rummaging through things
And then all of a sudden its monday and back to work time
Hope everyone else had a nice weekend too xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
So a bit of a list for later as all this socialising has meant alot of jobs have been left *Eep!*
1, move pots
2, wash pots
3, washing machine on
4, move clothes already washed
5, reply to people
6, look for a new job (doing this everyday)
7, sort out the carboot stuff
8, sort out meat for packed lunches
9, tidy kitchen
10, ensure coffee table is kept clear
11, FILL IN THE FORM !!!
Well that'll do for now considering i'm not home from work until late tonight i hope that i feel quite perky rather than quite drainedNot looking forward to work at all today
