Hi Guys and thank you for the good wishes it does mean alot
I am sorry for not posting for a few days - i have been both very tired still and dwelling on a few things
I do need to 'fess up thoughAnd you are the only people i can share the information with
and then i need to give myself the obligatory kick in the rear and get a plan in place - AND then get on with the plan
Figure to be finalised but i'm going to be about -£600  this month  And i pretty much need to repay it all by the 10th feb
Ok, so the £600 is made up of various bits which oddly add up to a round £200 each ?-
Over £200 from car repairs the other week
About £200 from right at the start of the year - various expenses connected to xmas
Shortfall about £200 - no p/t income
Now, if i hadn't bought all my creams etc. last week i'd have less money to find to repay - but as i did need some new cream and as i'll make the savings later in the year when i lift some out of my collection rather than having to buy at full price then in the long run it will be a saving.
So, first off, clear the £600 deficit. I *have* sold several items on eb*y not for loads but still its a few pound due to me butam awaiting payments coming in.
I also have stuff ending today - a couple with bids - only 99p each but again a couple of pounds.
I am due to get £45 this week (money owed to me)

Nice to see you again DDFW
You've been missed.
Sorry to hear about the shortfall, those unexpected expenses are the worst. Well done on the sales, though, and I hope you manage to get it sorted."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Ok, continuing on with the plan which i've got a more accurate handle on now
£572 is the shortfall
Now some of the repayment was to be from the sale of my car - *please positive vibes for this people* - Although it has created a fair bit of interest i'm not taking any of it seriously as no-one has contacted me to arrange a viewing
So where were we?
Ok - £572 - 45 = £527
And then the funds that'll come in from payments from the bay of e - probably another £20 - £30 so we'll call it £27 shall weleaving a round £500 - i know none of this could be avoided but i am just so gutted as this would be money (once raised) that i could use to get much needed work done on the house or to repay debt.
So i *need* to find some more things to sell - already decided on a couple of bits but had some paperwork to get out of the way firstSo tomorrow i'll list some new things (over the 99p) also hoping the weekend will be free listing again so i can re-list all my goodies that didn;t sell this time around.
To be continued...

The other thing i've been [STRIKE]moping about [/STRIKE]
thinking about is how i didn't think i achieved as much as i wanted to last year
Not all of the reasons were noted on here but there are so many things frustrating me about the jobs that needed doing 5 years ago and still want doing now - And then the extra things that have come up
The things i did achieve last year were:
New boiler and radiators - much needed due to the old one being broken beyond repair - cost a few thousand which i had to borrow and is my Target 1 that i'm repaying now
New (to me) car - yep its second hand but my last one was costing so much - due to constantly breaking down - i paid about £1200 in repairs within about 2.5 months :mad::mad: anyways i got a new to me car which is cheaper to insure so thats good - though i had to pay quite a bit for it too
Garden - ok its not finished but it cost me nothing other than hard work - still got some cutting back to do but that can wait until the frost has passed and its so much better than it was
Lounge - started on this - cost £0 but a LOT of hard work
THINGS I WILL ACHIEVE THIS YEAR! (By hook or by crook!)
Fencing - On guard! :rotfl::rotfl: Nope not that sort of fencing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: in the garden! A real bugbear as this is something that has been on each list each year! Well its going to be done - once the car sells- some of the funds will go into an envelope for this
£200 (i hope)
Shed - sticking with the garden theme - now this has been on the list for a while but i don't know when it decided to join the orderly queue? Still it makes sense that the shed gets put in situ before the fenceAgain money from the sale of the car
£200??? £400???? need to prie
Loft Ladders - i am sick of needing these - they have been on the list forever and will make it so much easier to get things out of the way up there (just those things which need to be kept though) If there is enough the £ will come from the sale of the car (ladders approx £150 - £200 given the kind needed) OR money from amaz*n vouchers
Insulation - money from either sale of car or i better get my selling into gear and list everything not nailed down  £500
Furniture - £225was hoping to get this from bay of e sales also but all thats been diverted to the shortfall
Paint - £50??? - cut back on grcoery shop
Wood - £50??? as above
New windows 1/2 house to begin cost??? will come up with a plan once i know the price
New flooring and skirting £500???
New fire and surround £100
New suite
Replace 2 internal doors to begin £150
Replace rotten cover £10
New Gate at front or clean up if possible
And of course still aiming for debt freedom this year!CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Lots of good goals there DDFW.
What sort of insulation are you looking for? Have you seen the offers for free cavity wall and loft insulation on here? http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/free-cavity-loft-insulation There are offers for all households not just those on benefits.
Good luck though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi brizzle and jwil and anyone lurking
Ok, made the decision not to list anything new just now as am hoping for a free listing soon but have a few bits that i will put on this weekend
Decided not to look on the bay of e as i'm convinced no-one is *truly* interested in my car as no-ones been in touch to view itBut have to get some addresses off there for the bits that have sold and money dropping in in drips and drabs for this so i *have* to go back on for these :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Got a few calls to make tomorrow so hoping i can get these sorted out easily.
Hope everyone is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Don't entirely give up hope on the car - my DH sold a couple of cars on there and no one came and looked at either. He also bought one on there without looking at it too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
