Treated myself again *for free* today with my b**ts points in their 75% off sale - plus of course a few more prezzies sorted out :T - Really didn't expect to find anything as nearly all the shelves were empty last week when the 50% was still on so thats all good news
Of course following the good news is the bad news of the circa £425 bill that i have to find the money for - and sharpish :eek::eek: Hence the brief post as i get my rear into gear and gather up some more stuff for eb*y - will need to be alot more stuff to achieve this target :eek::eek:
Yay to free boots stuff, and I didn't realise their 75% off sale had started, maybe I'll have to try and pop in. Doubt there would be anything left now though
Not nice about the new bill though,I'm sure you will be able to get there, you've done really well so far.

Hope you manage to snag yourself a bargain jwil
Very tired again todaythis lack of sleep is really taking its toll
the saga of the upset tummy continues :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So as today seems to have disappeared on me will list the few bits tomorrow on eb*y

Typically after being very tired yesterday and waking again after only a few hours last night i was managing to nod off this morning - able to grab a bit of a lie-in when there was a-knocking at the door - repeatedly - knowing i had a parcel due i got myself downstairs - no red card been left so it was either a parcel for a neighbour in which case they wouldn't leave us a card or it was the person who rang later (was supposed to ring first) to say they'd be here 30minutes ago - and still haven't arrived
There was also the person who should have come out yesterday and didn't - great
I was going to be listing on eb*y my last few items today but as its free listing over the weekend i'll wait for then- Hope some of it sells - the big piles of stuff i've left around isn't very tidy - oops!
Did have a query on one item offering less than the start price on a buy it now when there is already a bid on the item ??? - erm that'd be a no then :undecided
Overspent by £10 on the food budget - did get £10 worth of meat that i was going to get next week though - along with some fish that wasn't on my shopping list and some reduced price tea-cakes. Hopefully re-coup some of that next weekCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Oh there's nothing worse than waiting for people to turn up, especially when they are late or don't bother .
That's cheeky of the ebayer, how daft expecting you to sell for less when it's got a bid on it
Good luck with the listings this weekend!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Thanks jwil - i hope i get a few sales and hope you do too
So i've got to find £710 now - partly for the bill i mentioned the other day and the rest is my car repair bill*eep* i'm borrowing the money for the car being fixed - no other way to pay for it as they don't take credit cards - not that i want to add to my debt either
Not sure i've anything else i can try and sell now though :undecided may have a rummage through my jewellery box but i don't think i've anything gold to sell
Just to throw some positives in here i have done a few bits towards amaz*n vouchers todayAnd i have kept up with my exercise

Well i do hope everyone has had a lovely weekend
For me its been a bit of a mixed weekend. Tired - due to not sleeping very wellOH took me for a meal which was lovely
but i'm still not feeling 100% - general sore throat, achiness, basically feeling like i've got the flu when i'm pretty sure i've not got the flu :undecided I can't have to be honest because i've felt like this for weeks - still this isn't really what i want to chat about today - and i've tried not to post about it most days as i'm getting tired feeling this way myself and am pretty sure its boring for everyone else
What i do want to waffle on about today is - in a very sketchy / haphazard kind of way - are the changes that i want to make over the coming year - so nothing to pressurised there thenThis last few days i've listed quite a few bits on eb*y - this is in a bid to raise funds to cover the bills i've got in at the moment  - so no impact on the debt
except i guess it won't increase if i can rasie money this way :undecided But there are some things i'm not happy with in my life - and i don't want to go on in a negative ranty way about what i'm not happy with but rather try and jot down the things in my head that are positive about the changes i want to see
So then, the eb*y listing - now whilst i am very grateful to have anything to list at the moment - i'm also feeling weighed down by the amount of 'stuff' i have. Last year i did a huge and systemmatic declutter so the things i've listed on eb*y now are simply things from my wardrobe where i've got to the stage of saying 'fine it can go now'. But i still feel i have far more than i need so need to look at ways of realising that tons of stuff won't make me feel any better. So i need to part with more things but be happy with what i keep and by having less then things things should be used more and also these things are easier to get to and to keep tidy. By everything being easier to tidy and access then there's no time wasted hunting around or battling through things to get to an item. Thus giving me more time to spend doing things that i enjoy and that make me happy
This doesn't however mean that i won't be buying anything new or indeed new to me  I do have a list of wants / needs and the things on there have been on there for years - quite literally - well one day *wistful sigh* But its more about making the right choices with the items i bring into my homeAnd being confident that these new items will be used - none of them are to replace an existing item and some of them will open up new hobbies for me so thats all good :T
So my focus is all on doing things which make me happy, creating more time to do these thingsAnd working towards a more frugal way of living
Well thats enough to dwell on for now :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Its something i'm going to aim towards throughout this year so we'll see how i go onCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

This is what I am aiming for too. It's been a journey, but realising I don't need lots of stuff has been a good one.
