Small chunks of time sounds like a good plan, much easier to get stuff done that way.

We've got no plans at the moment, will probably just try and go out for a day here and there. DH was muttering the other day that he fancied going to Cardiff for the day so that will probably be on there.

Yikes! The small chunks of time would have been good if i hadn't lost all track of time  Basically i washed up, meal planned - right through until the end of april although some things will be needed alongside the fresh stuff too  made lunch, finished my on-line course (as far as i can for now) and have made 2 phone calls. Screened out of various surveys and completed another. Made PAD and minimum payment ;) Put about more Debt Free Planning in place and now its 2.30!:eek::eek:

Thats nice that you can have some nice days out jwil :D

I would say that unless the door is really important (no other exit route), the window should be the priority. These jobs are always frustrating though, especially when the funds are limited. It does get so depressing though with all the unfinished jobs.

If you like the coffee and your OH doesn't - make him buy his own! Or just buy the stuff he likes, then when you next need it, fill up the jar with cheaper stuff and see if he notices :p My DH automatically moans if I change something (I think it's a natural reflex :rotfl:). But if I don't tell him about it until after he's eaten it, he very rarely notices.

Good luck with the meal plans!

Yes, i'm torn between the two but i didn't want to replace the door until the bathrooms done (Goodness knows when!) as the workmen will use it all the time and i'll worry about damage :o The window may be whats giving me an achey neck / head sore throat as i'm just getting a cold breeze on me all night :( But as i say no money for either Hey Ho :(

So a little update :D I made 2 more necessary phone calls today :T so thats good :)

    Moneywise:-

I've torn up some envelopes to make little notepads - not very stylish but less wate and more mse ;)
I'm about to cut up last years calendar ready to use as wrapping paper this year :)
I've had lunch and tea from food thats already in :) and i've done my meal plan - right up to the end of April  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - this is my first ever attempt at a meal plan people so we will see how we go
I've done some more towards earning some much needed amaz*n vouchers

A little annoyingly (but it shouldn't be) after the free eb*y listing weekend i've now decided there are some bits - shoes really and possibly i need to look for some clothes to list for sale :o This doesn't mean my declutter wasn't thorough last time its just that sometimes i have to get to a stage where i'm comfortable parting with something as its no longer the look that i want or i accept that actually i've not worn it for a while and have other more fabulous things to wear instead (Strictly tells self :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) So my mission for this evening will be to lift out these few bits then they are at least ready to list at the next free listing - as there will be one soonish i hope:cool:

The good thing is that i had been struggling to get the final bits of my debt free plan in place so had just about decided to give up and call it done but parting with these extra things will help to increase the target i'll achieve from eb*y. And recognising i need to up this target has encouraged me to part with a few more bits too :T:T:T Still not at the end of my plan mind but all these bits are helping :)

    PAD: Starting Balance:Target 1: £2245.19

    1, £1.00 = £2245.19 - £1.00 = £2244.19
    2, £1.00 = £2244.19 - £1.00 = £2243.19
    3, £1.00 = £2243.19 - £1.00 = £2242.19
    4, £15.00 = £2242.19 - £15.00 = £2227.19
    5, £44.79 = £2227.19 - £44.79 = £2182.40
    6, £105.40 = £2182.40 - £105.40 = £2077
    7, £1.00 = £2077 - £2 = £2075
    8, £11.00 = £2075 - £11 = £2064
    9, £15.00 = £2064 - £15 = £2049

That sounds like you've done quite a lot!

Could you perhaps bubble wrap around the gap in the window? We've put bubble wrap over our broken window, and it's worked marvellously. No draft coming through at all. It's not really dark either.

Well done on the meal plan! That's impressive right up until April.

Well done on finding some more for ebay too. I have to go through my wardrobe several times and find new stuff each time. Its a good way of decluttering I think!

The test of the meal plan will be if i can stick to it though ;) - what was great was i moved a few jars around and found some stuff that needs using this month so i shuffled some of the planned meals a bit so these won't be wasted :T

wardrobe stuff - hmm i still have more to do there :o

Thanks brizzle - PADs helped me alot last year and i really need to get rid of this debt asap! :o

I've got 6 new things together to list now (new as in not re-lists ) I've sold a few bits today but won't add it until the money comes in ;) Good Luck with your e-b*y too - i'm sure we've all bought something and then when its come its not been quite right for whatever reason - no fault of the seller - sometimes things are different to what you expect - whether its the texture, the way they fit, longer than expected etc. So well done :T:T:T for recognising you've purchased something thats not right and selling it on again is just the right thing to do rather than leaving it unused in your wardrobe - it will be perfect for someone :T:T

So as i say i'm getting a little stash of things together ready to list on eb*y on the next free listing day - *fingers crossed for this asap please* :o

I've done some more bits towards earning amaz*n vouchers
I've completed some surveys and have been screened out of many more *rolly eyes smilie*
I have done the weekly shop and kept to budget :T:T:T
Had a frugal tea - 1/2 a tin of beans on toast :D yum!

Hope everyone else has had a good day :)

Well done on your sales and keeping to your grocery budget! I'm not good at meal planning, as so often I just don't fancy what I've planned, and have something else instead :o
