Hiya all
I'm currently trying to muster up both some energy and enthusiasm to get *something* doneFelt really under the weather yesterday
all achey and cold - not much improvement today to be honest - probably need to focus on getting this window fixed the constant chill can't be helping me :undecided
So thought i'd post myself some little goals on here that i want to achieve today:-
List 5 more items on eb*y
Write list of all the places i need to phone
Do a little knitting - just something for me
Lift out some more clothes from wardrobe to ponder over
Do some more of my on-line course
I said it was a little list - and alot can only be done laterCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Oops - nothing listed on eb*y as yet
- which might just mean i'll have to double up and put 10 items on tomorrow and aim for these to be worth £30 at start price - taking my total to £140 (start price) listing *fingers crossed*
I did make 3 phone calls today - 1 of the places had a recorded message saying they were closed - which they were on the last 2 working days i called them - no wonder these things take so long
The 2nd place just kept ringing through to answermachine so will need to try again tomorrow
3rd time lucky - 3rd place answered so hopefully thats one thing all sorted out
I did do some knitting which is good but it wasn't as relaxing as i imagined it would be :undecided

Fingers crossed you get good sales for your ebay stuff DDFW.
I hate making phone calls and avoid them where I can. I can feel your pain! On the plus side it means we have a very low phone bill as we are both the same
Hope you get some time to relax today"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks jwil - have PM'd you don't think relaxing is in the offing although i had what is becoming a 'normal nights sleep' for me again last night - as in up alot with an upset stomach and dozing off for 2hours maximum
On the plus side though i did get through to the 2 places i tried the other day so at least those are phone calls that don't need to be made againCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well again, DDFW. Hope you feel a bit better soon. Well done on getting the phone calls done though :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Ta jwil i used to suffer alot with an upset stomach when i was younger so its something i'm used to tolerating
Didn't get 10 new items listed on eb*y but did list items totalling over £30 if they sell at start price so quite pleased with that - basically i've got nearly everything listed that i've sorted out to sell except for a few items where i've taken the decision to wait for free listing with these  I've also re-listed a heap more that are on 99p start price
Also in sorting out my clothes i've a dress that i have no shoes to wear with- none that would look good anyways  and i knew exactly the shoes i wanted to wear with it so i ordered the shoes off amaz*n with my free vouchers
- I know this is just pushing the ladders further away from me  but i have been listing quite a bit on eb*y and have a few things on amaz*n too so hoping to recoup from here really. Plus OH is taking me out for a meal :smileyhea which is lovely and something we've not done for such a long time. Really want it to be special and am making an effort with my appearance too
i know excuses, excuses :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Still its perked me up a bit
Kept up with my exercise phew! - so thats me 4 days in a row now :T lets hope it starts to show at some point :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Hi all - a brief post from me though i'll hopefully be back later with something more thorough
Treated myself again *for free* today with my b**ts points in their 75% off sale - plus of course a few more prezzies sorted out :T - Really didn't expect to find anything as nearly all the shelves were empty last week when the 50% was still on so thats all good news
Of course following the good news is the bad news of the circa £425 bill that i have to find the money for - and sharpish :eek::eek: Hence the brief post as i get my rear into gear and gather up some more stuff for eb*y - will need to be alot more stuff to achieve this target :eek::eek:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Woo to OH taking you out, hope you have a lovely meal together :T It's always a nice treat when you don't do it very often, and very deserving of new shoes I think
Well done on the exercise as well!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
