I don't have a clue how they got my number as were not listed, the little !!!!!!s!!

Most likely because you put your phone number on the registration details that you sent to the DVLA.
  • Hi Guys

I am a victim of a parking scam where I went into a Netto car park and automatically captured on camera saying that I stayed in there for 5 hours. What actually happened is that I went in the car park TWICE that day so thay have got me going in the first time and going out the second time.

Having seen these threads the advice seems to be to ignore as they cant prove who the driver is.

The problem is I replied with the e-mail for appeals given on the back of this form that there has been a mistake and could you please check your footage and all would be well. The problen I have now is that by doing this I have admitted to driving the car.
    What are my chances?:(

Very well known scam. Even if they know you were driving they wouldnt dare take it anywhere near a court. Just ignore.

Using the same car park twice on the same day (or at least within n hours) is against the "rules" in some parks

So what if you go to somewhere like B&Q, get home, decide that you have bought the wrong product, quickly return to the store to rectify that mistake and then get a "ticket"?

but this doesn't alter the well-established fact that 99.999% of cases never get in front of a judge!

Unfortunately there will be enough people who believe the garbage sent out by PPCs, and will pay up.

Like all PPC "rules", the sole purpose is to benefit the PPC not the retailer or the customer.
