    It's been a busy 24hrs.

Puds - it's not the 1st binge and it won't be the last, but it's over and done with now. Move on from the negative feelings, oh, and shift your @r5e this week and get motivated. I'm vowing to do more exercise this week, if it helps. How about we both move our backsides more this week... ok, and now I've got this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_yMLbAyO1U in my head.

Victory - What a brave post. I hope that 2011 is a turnaround year for you. I think you're making very wise decisions with both the job, and the GP appointment. If you were limping you'd go to get your leg checked, it's just the same with the chemicals in your brain, and I'm sure that just acknowledging you need some support is half the battle. Let us know how you get on. I hope you enjoy the SW meeting. I know it's a big step for you go outside what you know, but by giving it a go you are opening up the chance for opportunity and a change. SW really is a healthy way of living too, with lots of balance, so I think it will really suit you, especially with your diabetes.

Betty I'm glad you had a lovely birthday.

Lexa - welcome to this lovely thread. Lots of us on here have more than just a few pounds to shed, and as you can see, some have been very successful in shifting more than just a stone or two. I've been doing SW since November, and have managed to shift 12lb so far, with only a 1.5lb gain over Christmas, so if you're able to do a bit of meal planning, and want to get back into healthy eating, I can recommend it. Prior to this I'd tried calorie counting, but was choosing badly, and eating too little volume wise to feel full. I have an appetite, I accept that now, so that's why I feel SW is helping me to make progress. Post often for maximum benefits. We're all here to help and support, as you've seen today already.

So, meals were not so well planned for me today, which has taught me a lesson in itself. It turned out to be an Extra Easy day, but that's because I purposefully didn't use more than one each of my Healthy Extra A/B's.

    Food today:
B - banana (it was very late after a lie in, so only 1/2 hr before lunch)
L - Pasta & sauce with extra mushrooms added & a slice of lean ham chopped up, satsuma, rhubarb muller light
D - pork chop, baked potato, 1tsp clover light (1 syn), baked beans, 28g low fat cheddar (4 syns), ketchup (1 syn)
    HeA - 250ml milk
HeB - Fibre Plus dark choc bar
    Snacks - 2 x h/m biscotti (3 syns)

New week starts tomorrow guys, have a good one.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

It's the red marks frm a damn good whipping:D

Victory - can't add much to what Sary said: and like beanie said - you handing in your notice and going to the GP is the best news so far this year. Crying all the time is a classic sign of depression, I have said before. It's how I reaslised i had it once and then got help.

Good luck with going to the meeting - remember , we are all there with you holding your hand.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Betty, what a fantastic observation. You are so right, they are exactly like little poems!

And they get paid for doing that! I'm in the wrong job!
