Hi all! Sorry for the lack of updates this week - my laptop charger died

But now I'm back online!

As an update - I'm up to £290.29 thanks to fixtheodds! Still got a bet to settle tomorrow so let's wait and see! Lol, I don't think you're going to be able to go to Barbados doing this, but it will certainly help you make a few bob!

I've done the Currys £5 voucher thingy, so if I add that in - I'm £295.29! Though I think I'm not sure if I'll hit my £500 mark! Though even if I make £300, I'll be happy!

One week and three days to go! Dont give up on the £500 yet. Can you not do another focus group? That would take it to £345.29 + the bet your settling tomorrow and any other bets you place in the upcoming week.
Also if you see something for sale that you think is going cheap Ie remote control cars. Buy it with the money you have give it a better advert, picture and list it in the correct place and make more out of it?

Thanks Dooley! That's given me more motivation!

I'm up £22.66, so I'm up to £317.95, so passed the £300 mark!!

I've got a few more bets running, so hopefully I'll be up to £350 - just over your estimate... Unfortunately I can't do another focus group as you can only do two per year... Rather naughtily, I've signed up with Saros research today, so lets wait and see if they can offer me anything!

Quick update from me - I've made £76.04 so far, which is pretty good going I should think!!

Still waiting for a Eurosportbet one and just noticed a Paddy Power one for £100.

I think I'll lower my expectations in your challenge and go for £150 by Christmas!

Hi all, I'M NEARLY THERE!!!!

A quick update from me - got another focus group next Monday, which will pay £125!! The brief is brilliant - I get to smash up consumer electronics like iPods, iPhones, Laptops, etc! (Apparently it's for an insurance company - just to let you all know, they're looking to fill their quota for people aged between 40 - 50, so do let me know if you're interested, and I'll forward you the details!)

That should bring me to an amazing £442.85! Thankfully, fixtheodds has just put up three more offers - one up to £100, one £30 and one £25(?). I'm doing the Eurosportbet one at the moment which should make me maybe £14? That settles on Saturday, so by then I should be on £456.85!

So providing that I make £44 - (I'll probably do the Paddy Power £100 free bet one), then I will have met my £500 target!! :D:D:D

These focus groups sound really good. As does the betting...will have to find out more!
Ive made £356.44!! But I dont think it counts..My dad moved house and gave me all the furniture he didnt want plus selling clothes I no longer need/wear!!

That definitely does count! It's as long as the money doesn't come from my salary! So well done!

It's not betting in the traditional sense - I should probably note that I'm against gambling but this is not! It's 'matched betting'.

There's a (rather long and boring) thread on here which explains what it is, but essentially it's taking advantage of free bookie offers and through a loophole make money!

Have you tried Valued Opinions? I've just started using them... They don't pay much for surveys (50p, £1, etc) but I'm getting surveys every few days!
