Spent mine on a cosmetic set so paid roughly 51p ish. I was told that it can't be spent on £5 items so you have to add someting to it. Also, I was told SOME concessions (e.g. Warehouse) are not taking part and SA went to look at a paper that probably listed them, suggesting voucher may be used is other concessions.
It looked like loads of people had done it (SA's were discussing how to put in the voucher and said I done it like this before e.t.c.) so hopefully it will last. I only done 1 myslef and my mum done 1.
    HTH someone

edit: forgot to add the SA was told to take the printed paper.

guys did u cut out the voucher or hand in the whole email?

mine printed out weird i think!!!

Near the top of the email is a sentence stating if you are having trouble viewing the email to go here (and then you click on the word "here"). It takes you to a web page with just the coupon, none of the other email stuff -- looks like it will be easier to print out, though I haven't done so yet.

It does say 1 per customer not 1 per household so if there is more than 1 in your house there should be no problem with having 1 each

Exactly! There are 3(almost 4) adults in my house, and we could all make use of this £5 voucher.

    I just used 2 in 2 transactions.

Neither one scanned, so one SA put it through as cash, and the other SA as a promotional voucher. Neither said a word about it.

    Super!

Eventually cashed mine in Carlisle. Bought £6 item and handed over the voucher, it wouldn't scan so assistant got supervisor who said they had been warned of problems and were not allowed to let it go through as cash or gift card. After 20 mins and alot of tutting in the queue behind me they managed to sort it out. If you have a problem with it being accepted they have been sent instructions to download from the internet which tells them how to cope with this voucher.

Just managed to use 2 x vchrs - i used one in homewares on 70% off sale stock so got real great bargain in towels- which i did actually need and OH used his vchr in menswear.

menswear had no prob, they commeted that this was the vchr they had the meeting about this morning and put thru as promotion.
Homewares asked for my Debenhams Card (i don't have one!) and didn't know what to do with it, so put it thru as 2 x £2.50 off stock reductions?

it doesn't matter they both worked - VERY HAPPY with stuff that we actually needed :j
Saying Thank You doesn't cost anything

    Hi,

I used my voucher on some reduced gift cards and some christmas cards. The total was £5.10 so after much fuss as in them now knowing what to do with the voucher (in the end it was put through as other voucher) i eventually parted with my 10p. So I am happy with that and I plan on using another one next time I go out.

    Hope that helps x

Also did anyone try and use two vouchers with the same bar code?!

Somebody earlier today posted that they had printed off 2 from the same email address, I would guess that, that would mean the same barcode. She seemed to be able to use it ok but they were entered manually. I am just wondering how long this will last though as they do not seem to be ready for this voucher instore but I am sure they will sort the tills out sooner rather than later to stop people doing this!
