I spent it on my lunch hour for a kids book £4 and a small box of Winnie the Poo Christmas choccies £1.
Voucher scanned but would not "go through" 4 other SA's 1x supervisor and 1x manager had ago in the end it wasn't scanned and put through as "other voucher".(also tried adding another £1 item incase till wanted an over £5 spend)
Doubt I could use a second as most of the staff would remember now.
As others have said unless they limit how many vouchers they email out i can see this being pulled long before the 12th.
Plenty of stuff for £5 or less: books, kids socks, undies, advent calenders and choccies, hair accessories, and a few small toys. If you don't have kids to buy for you will have to have a good root around but greetings cards and gift wrap, keyrings, single smellies, and single pairs of undies come to mind.AKA: PC

What is to stop you getting the voucher, and using the code for 15% off online?0

regarding debenhams, one quick point. If you have a problem with an order dont talk to customer services. ask straight away to be put through to complaints department.
I had huge problems with them regarding an order that was smashed during delivery, so I posted it back, and then they refused to replace it.
In the end I asked to be put through to their complaints and a girl there (called Bonny) sorted it out in about 10 seconds.
have been told to expect a replacement order within the next 72 hours. :Tfind a deal....pass it on :beer:0 -

So bought another and went to a different till and used it there. Thanks op
Did you print the same voucher twice, or apply for two different ones using different email accounts?0 -

Nothing - that is the purpose of the voucher. Are you asking if you can use the voucher to get a fiver freebie and then use the same voucher online? If so, the answer is I doubt it...Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.
Need to save up, lose weight, reduce my money worries and get back to being the real me! :j0 -
I printed out the same voucher twice with the same email account.
I think i am going to register hubbys account too as i was dubious whether they would accept it against reduced good and they did0 -

I had a similar experience in the Leeds branch - none of the staff knew what to do to put it through!! Was in the store around 10-15 minutes, just queueing at the till.0 -
It figures, I placed an order late last night, and now there's a discount code! According to customer services, I can't cancel the order. I can place a new order, and after delivery they'll arrange a courier for the items I don't want. Seems a bit excessive to get £4 off, and then two orders on my card right now. How are Debenhams for refunds?
In my expereince they are pants for refunds done by post, they take ages, and for concessions ( Kaliko etc) it is up to 6 weeks (despite the law saying 30 days, they always have an excuse)Nothing - that is the purpose of the voucher. Are you asking if you can use the voucher to get a fiver freebie and then use the same voucher online? If so, the answer is I doubt it...
MMmm I am not sure as the online discount is a code and the voucher has a bar code scanned so it should be possible. I dont think the two are related.0
