Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
Thank you for explaining the parrots!!! (Light bulb moment here)
Feeling lazy today, only just got up, just decluttering some coffee and toast, still no letter from the consultant grrrrr, might go in the bath after that and then find my list.....feeling a bit woozy today don't know why.....spoons and hugs xxxGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
sexymouse - does your mum like fruitcake? My mum makes a good diabetic one if you want the recipe?
Ooh yes please. She always makes a fruit cake for Christmas, so it'd be nice for her to have a recipe that she can eat too. Thank you.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
my survey lady has been with stuff for me to test...was hoping for goodies but no, I have
antiseptic surface wipes, washing tablets, a loo rim block thing, washing up sponges and swing bin liners - s'pose I ahd better fly, then.
Vibes please for my mum's NDN's girl - at 25, and haviing had some symptoms for a while and ignoring them she has finally got into the docs and been diagnosed with a brain tumour. So 'benign and operable' vibes, please...
(It won't help that a schoolfriend of hers died at 15 of one - having ignored then hidden, her symptoms)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all,
pigpen I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it's not one of the nasties that your sister has. I'm pleased to hear that your OH is enjoying fatherhood (and not just the nice parts lol).
tootles - the PM I sent was in response to the one you sent me a couple of weeks ago, but I've only just mentioned it now. I sent it directly after you sent me mine, so fingers crossed you got it. It wasn't until after I'd posted it back, that I remembered I'd sent it to the Post 2 toots address. Hope you got it lovely lady.
Froddy I'll send LadyL a text as she's not been online for a day or so, and see about tomorrow. I would have offered to watch Saw3 with you but the first one scared me so much, I don't think I could face another one (particularly in 3d). Let me know when and where would be most convenient for you (I'm flexible).
Thank you for the lemon cake recipe msgnomey - ask a silly question though, but with the boiled lemons and the pureeing part, do you boil the lemons in their skins and then peel them, or do you blitz the whole thing in a food processor? It's a new concept for me. I've got a few lemons in the fridge and all of the other ingredients (need to get the canderel), so should be able to make some at the weekend. It'll cheer my Mum up, as I think with the diagnosis and her neck, and the stress of looking after my Nana, she's feeling a bit low at the moment.
Well I'm off to do some flying in a minute (I've breakfasted but haven't dressed yet as I was watching TV). The kitchen looks like a bomb's hit it, as Moon isn't the tidiest cook you'll find, and has also for some reason spilt DW salt on the floor too.
HHC 11.45-12.15 anyone?
Hugs to all the poorlies and for those who need them, and well done to all of the new flyladies who've been doing so well with their flying.
sexymouse x
